Fpr the price I don't think you find a 2 port ethernet switch with any more speed or features. While it connects at 1000 Mbs you wont get that from both ports at the same time. It is not managed, meaning it doesn't get its own ip address and wont show up in an ip scan. You can log into it and make VLANS, or quality of service (QOS). Also it needs power, which is normal for a switch, and can be powered by a standard USB-C connection. With a USB-C to USB-A cable you can put this on one ethernet coming out behind a TV, and run ethernet to the TV and ethernet to a Apple TV box, or similar. It however will not pass through POE (Power over Ethernet) so you can use it to power other devicesm even if you send POE to it.

Easy plug in and go. Splits my ethernet connections between my desktop pc and modem and router.

Two issues: First, one outlet didn't work at all. I tried different configurations (i.e., a cable that worked in one outlet didn't work in the other), but one outlet didn't work at all, despite the green light. Also, the power is from a USB port. So it uses up one of you USB ports.I replaced this with a Netgear 5-port splitter that works perfectly and who power comes from an adapter that plugs into a regular outlet. $4 more. Worth it!

So this is a splitter and that's what it does. Really not much you can say about that.

This is really a two port switch that works perfect. If you need to add an additional ethernet port by a TV or a second computer or for anything that needs wired internet this will get the job done. Nice that you can power it from any USB port that has power. Recommend.

What more to say? I needed two LAN cables/connectors instead of the one I had. Easy install and worked immediately on power up. You need a 5-volt USB connector for power, so plan for that.
