Installation was routine, no surprises. The provided refrigeration lines and air handler held a vacuum well and the compressor was precharged. All HVAC require a shut off box in view of the unit, hence the reason a “power cord” is not included, but everything else is. Charging was $544. in VA. It requires a dedicated 20 amp and 12/2 wire, which I had installed for $594. Don’t think you can just plug this into a wall socket with 14/2 and 15 amp, as it will trip it. The good news is it’s powerful beyond its spec. I’ve used only heating thus far and it is surprising hot, especially on the “super” setting. The compressor is unusually quiet, they claim 29 decibels and I would agree. Software is sophisticated with a slow start, defrost programs and timer functions. It has wifi features which I haven’t tried, as I don’t need them. Inexpensive unit that works well.

Installed it all myself (I have installed 7 so far). First time installing a Rovsun. It was straight forward like others I have installed. Took me about 2.5 hours. Vacuum pumped it down, powered it up, and VOILA! I am cooling my Master Bedroom and Bathroom and it is working great on low. Seems quiet enough....

Installing was fairly easy but I do have HVAC experience and would recommend you seek help if you have never done any HVAC before. The unit is not complicated and cools down very quickly. Waiting to see how much the electric bill is but based on how quick it works and maintains at the lowest level after cooling down I can’t imagine it will be a huge cost. Much more efficient than a window shaker or any other indoor option. Wireless connected fairly easy and the app is straight forward.Running the electrical was the toughest part and would recommend an electrician to get the disconnect box put in where you need it. You also need a whip to connect to the disconnect box and a wall bracket to mount it is highly recommendedAll things considered this unit is cheap and works well! I’d buy it again as long as it lasts for a few years at least.

When i say defective, a part inside the component was defective.The unit ran 10 minutes, no cold air, then went into error mode.I had to order a booklet from manufacturer because not all codes are listed in owners manual.I will never order this off brand again.

I have purchased and installed three of these! What a great value for the money. They are very quiet, easy to install and heat and cool like crazy. Also, they are efficient. One improvement could be to the remote control… It is a little bit difficult to understand some of the controls. Overall, a great product and I would buy again.

We used this mini split in a large bedroom to heat and cool the room and attached hallway! It’s definitely does the job and runs pretty quiet. Ease of installation (self install) using a tool kit purchased separately on Amazon I would rate it 8/10. Energy efficiency is highly acceptable.

I bought this complete ready to install unit finally got someone to install it but guess what IT DOES NOT INCLUDE A POWER CABLE! It also did not have the rubber feet for mounting and vibrations! Nevertheless I got it installed the heater wow it blows really hot air the AC blows really cold and once it’s fully running you can’t even hear it but you can hear when it first kicks on through vibration! All in all a decent unit for the price and all that matters is I have heat and air conditioning!!!!

Pretty straight forward, works like it should. I do wish the wiring schematic was a little more detailed. I wound up just matching the wires up number to number. I’m not an electrical or an HVAC guy, but still got it done. Very quiet unit! Put it in my greenhouse, seems like it’s working fine.
