One cube in a thick short tumbler and a margarita poured over it and it feels like The Savoy American bar - cuts down on melt rate, great for a whiskey too, should you wish to ruin it that is - soft and easy to use. A great add on to our usual ice stash for certain drinks and requests.

Easy to use, easy to clean. XL cube size is nice for freezing sauces or even cooked, ground meats into handy portions for later use

The product is fantastic! We enjoy using the huge ice cubes in our drinks. They do not melt fast and keep the drink cold. They are easy to fill and remove when ready for use. I highly recommend them for your bar accessories.

These ice cube trays turned out to be a really fun purchase. It’s very classy in a short glass when you serve a hard liquor on the ROCK; like Scotch or Gin straight up. I used them a lot over the summer with a slice of lemon or lime frozen in the cube. Even did some with nasturtiums blooms frozen in them for display with chilled shrimp. I found just running a little hot water over the back helped the cubes pop right out. I’m thinking I’ll order a second set so I can whip up frozen herbed butter blocks; fun to have on a dinner plate when you’re serving corn on the cob.

I've used these for a few months now. Very pleased with them. First of all, learn the beauty of giant ice cubes for your cocktail concoctions. Depending on the drink, they keep everything cold without as much dilution of the beverage, and there is just something about one giant cube v. a dozen small ones that is better. I used them for martinis. The product itself works fine. The silicon is flexible so you can easily pop the frozen cube out. They've stood up to repeated use. If you have hard water there will be some residue left in the cups, but it doesn't affect the cube any. I'm sure I could clean it out if I cared. Remember the cube itself is pretty big, so you need a glass w a large enough circumference for it to sit down on the bottom.

I wanted to make big ice cubes that would work well for normal things like soda and cold tea, all the way up to whiskey and premium spirits. These work perfectly fine, and removing isn't the easiest thing in the world, but it is easy enough if you use a good technique: Twist the whole piece, grab one of the cubes upside down, and push firmly on two sides while holding the border. My only caveat is that the lid won't seal perfectly since it can accumulate some ice on the sides, but to be honest, since it does not advertise itself as an air-tight container, it is usable and works well as long as you store them horizontally. After the cubes are solid, feel free to store them however you want, and they will hold in place perfectly fine.

I own three other silicone ice cube trays, less in the number of cubes. I am now moving those to our RV and using these daily at home. I have discovered over the past few years: 1.) Silicone ice cubes are not as easy to remove as 'hard plastic or metal' ice cube tray. Nature of the beast. 2.) Use purified water (I buy store-brand at Dollar General or Walmart. Name brand does not seem to matter.) If I use tap water, which where I live is very good, the ice cubes are a challenge to remove. 3.) Take the first cubes out of the center, not the edges. YES, regarding a tight fitting lid-- is not secure, but after reading many reviews I did not anticipate them to be. The lids are great for stacking, do not expect them to be leak-proof. Although mine are only a couple months old I have not found an odor and perfectly pleased with the price and functionality of this product. Cubes are a good size and no way am I going to measure accuracy of cube size to description size. Really, those who do so need a new perspective on life.

I love these ice cube trays, I now have purchased a second set. I use one of those big 30 oz yeti mugs and want my ice to last longer. The mug can fit 4 of the large cubes so it stays cold all day. The trays are structured enough to not be floppy once filled and still plenty flexible enough to stretch and twist out the ice. I sometimes bend it over the edge of the counter to help free them but they work like a dream. The lids are ridged plastic and have four protrusions to hold the lid on. They can also stack without loosing their structural integrity and collapsing in the freezer. I would and in fact think I will buy more of these to increase my ice output. I love this product and after having gone through other silicone ice molds that were annoying or inconvenient to use, I’m really glad I found these.
