If you're looking for a thing like this... a adapter you can insert in the middle of the shower water line in order to make it swivel or turn out a little... then this is exactly what you want! We needed to hook up a separate control valve connected to our shower handle, but the hookup for the hose was right next to the shower wall and we just barely couldn't fit it on. So this allowed us to turn the connection out just enough to screw on the new fixture piece. I think most people would use it for their overhead shower head. And it would work well for that too. But for us it was a great problem solver.

Leaked and didn't stay in place well at all! We have a magnetic head that I just needed to angle down a little more, thus the reason I ordered this part. Unfortunately it leaks and doesn't stay in place and swivels too freely thus causing the showerhead to fall on my husband!
