They work great, but the only downfall is that they are not rioted together so the little bolt and nut loosen with use and will eventually come apart if you are not paying attention.

They work as advertised - which is better than the last set I had. These have held up well for the four or five fires we've had since getting them. They've kept their shape and do exactly as shown. Well worth it.

Very nice tongs for logs. They have lots of strength and being stainless they stay looking nice.

These skyflame stainless steel log tongs are very heavy duty and well made. They operate smoothly, opening and closing with ease, and they utilize teeth on the tips of the tongs and in the middle of the grabber end to attach to the logs and make them easier to pick up. The tongs are very long, helping keep you away from the fire while still being able to add logs and keep it going as long as you want.My main complaint is that my tongs came with some spots where the stainless steel already has oxidation spots. The box was open on one end and the tongs were halfway out of the protective plastic sleeve within the box. I’m not sure if I received a used unit or if the weight of the tongs caused the box to open during shipping, but it was disappointing finding the rusty spots on the unit either way.I also wish that they would have came with a protective cover to keep my children from getting cut on the teeth. One other note, if you have a solo stove and have the station accessory, these tongs will not fit in the tool holder on the side. I did not use that info when considering my rating for the product, but I thought it was something worth noting for other potential buyers.Overall, despite the rusty spots, I still think these are most likely some of the best tongs on the market. Their length, heavy duty construction, and superb performance make them the best pair of fire log tongs that I’ve ever used. I’ll give them 4/5 stars and would recommend to others.

These are a good quality of log tongs and are a bit longer than others I've used. They are good at gripping the log to move or flip it. I can see using these for several years to come. They will be used regularly for my campfires at home and away.

I'd expect to spend a lot more money on a log gripper, so for the value this is good as long as you keep some of its quirks in mind. This is a solid metal pair of tongs with teeth, connected with a bolt and nut at the joint. This screw is absolutely the weakest point on the tongs, and will require regular tightening. I even plan in using loc-tite on the nut. Out of the box, the gripper aligned perfectly, but a few tests involving pillows and dog toys already it was misaligned because of this screw. Not that it doesn't work perfectly fine when the teeth don't lock together exactly, since this is meant for logs I can't see any problem from that,The teeth are sharp enough to grab and hold wood, so be careful of their pointiness. The metal it is made out of is quite strong, but because it is just so long and thin if you are lifting very heavy logs, I could see this developing a bend over time. If you want something stronger, you are going to pay more and it will also be a lot heavier.

Nice stainless-steel tongs for moving around firewood. The end is extra grippy to prevent a flaming log from dangerously falling out. These ship in one piece so no assembly required. Very satisfied!

I got these to use when I go camping and have a campfire. Nice to have a tool to be able to rearrange and flip hot logs. I love that the grabber part has teeth on both the tips and in the jaws. Awesome design. They are also much longer than anticipated, which is a great thing. The brushed nickel looks really nice and these should prove to be a useful fire tool. Very happy!
