How to install these square drill bit?
1. The drill core is very sharp. Please wear working gloves to avoid direct contact between your hands and the drill bit during installation.
2. Put the square drill shell and drill core into the jig of the square tenoning machine, and then hold the square hole drill bit by hand
3. Take 0.5~1mm thick sheet (metal sheet or plastic sheet) and jam it at the step of the drill shell. After fixing the drill core, remove the sheet, then adjust the angle of the drill shell to the top to ensure clamping, so that a 0.5~1mm gap can be formed between the drill core head and the inner bevel of the drill shell, which can prevent the bit from jamming during use .

Not strong enough to function, weak bits, weak construction. Buy a one piece kit, not this metal garbage. Wish I would have returned

Works ok. I do not like the bolts or having Philips head screws on the bit holder. These will strip out and it is a place that will get constant use even if you leave it as a permanent mount. At the swivel you may want to put loc-tite on the nuts they will vibrate loose. No instructions came with mine I have never used one. Make sure bit is all the way up till it stops or will not cut properly. Overall I seems to be a very good value fore the money.

In principle, this tool attachment is a great idea. Unfortunately, the quality of the adapter and bits was so poor that it was unusable. The adapter didn't sit flush on the drill press fixed ring so it couldn't be centered properly. The bit housings weren't straight, and the bits contacted the insides of the housings. After spending an hour adjusting every piece, it produced a poor, off-center "almost" square hole.You're better off using a router or hand tools than messing with this attachment.

The bracket on this set is a but lower quality relative to others that are entirely cast iron based. However this kit does come with 4 bits which helps get you started much sooner. This bracket is also easier to mount then others I have used. Overall it's a good kit with great value but it is a less durable product.
