Using a fine scrub pad, wash mitt, or a STAR BRITE Magic Sponge (included), wipe the treated area to remove stains, then rinse off. STAR BRITE Home Pool Waterline Cleaner can also be used for the entire pool before it is filled up with water again. ***NOTE. This formula is designed for scum lines, dirt, oils, and black streaks. Calcium and hard water deposits will require a different product that is acid based. CAUTION: EYE AND SKIN IRRITANT. Contains: Tetrasodium EDTA and Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether. Take precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact with skin occurs, wash well with soap and water. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with fresh water for 15 minutes. We have a in-ground fiberglass pool salt water and have been unable to find a product to get the “gunk” off the sides of the pool. This spray was incredibly effective, sprayed it on the sides, waited 30 seconds and brushed it off. Spotless clean and our sides are smooth once again! Highly recommend.

Used as instructed and it took the original color off of my pool liner. The product label says it will not ruin the original however, it definitely did.

I like that I can use it without worry of imbalance in my pool, but I will need to scrub a few more times to get the line to go away. I saw improvement after first use. I scrubbed with a sterlings sponge (recommended by pool owner group on Facebook). My water is balanced, I have a water softener, my filter is new and clean, and I use a stain and scale prevention additive, so I’m assuming the scum is caused by oils, dirt, or sunscreen. Once I get it good and clean with this product, I will look into a wax/protectant for fiberglass.
