These radios have a great range and are quite small. Very simple controls and clear audio. I like the charging bases as you just drop the radio in the cradle and you're set. Also, the charger is a smart charger in that is stops charging when the battery is full. These work clearly from inside my house to inside a steel building over 100 feet away.

I was disappointed in this product and should have returned them . They do not hold a charge . Must be kept on base .

I fell and broke my hip and was eventually able to get into the bathtub. My husband was not able to hear my calls for help. These little walkie-talkies solved the problem. All I do is push a button, and he can hear me and come help me.

I have been using several Echo Dots to communicate to family members when they are in different parts of the house, but there were big problems with that, especially if the message was more than a few sentences long. The delay was irritating and the sound quality was subpar so I had to say "what?" a lot. This intercom solves those issues for two rooms in the house. These are very easy to use (just press a button to talk), you can leave them on all the time (unlike walkie talkies), and no internet is required. The sound quality is clear as long as these are far enough apart to not cause feedback. If they are one room away, they work fine, and at greater distances, even if they are on different floors of the house, they work fine. I can carry on long conversations on this and not have to strain to understand or hear the other person. These are not full duplex, so you have to take turns talking. I wish this came with more than a short sheet of instructions though.
