I purchased this camera to use in a virtual classroom training setting. The camera and built in mic better than expected. The camera was a simple plug and play that was instantly recognized without any software or driver installs. I would definitely buy this again.

This is the a great option for a camera and microphone. This is so easy to set up and can be used in several ways: above a monitor or on a desk. Great for video calls. Works very well. I have purchased this for several coworkers as well.

My near 10 yar old Logitec C310 HD is a far better camera than this one, And it only does 720p HD. This camera has very bad screen tearing, the image is blurry and dull, the colors are not vibrant. the Ring light as 3 settings and that's it. All white light, no natural to blend. The privacy shudder has to be taped on, it is not mechanically attached to the camera which that I've never seen before. If you absolutely must have a webcam and do not care about quality, this is a good deal, otherwise I do not suggest purchasing this unit, and after the misleading product description, I will not be purchasing from this manufacturer again.

I have had a few webcams from well known manufacturers and this one has by far the best picture quality of them all. It was recommended to me by someone as a good budget starter camera to make YouTube videos. The tripod is an added bonus as I can reposition it allowing me to work in different locations in my home, and the threaded connection is of a universal size that makes it compatible with my other camera tripods. I also use it with Webex, MS Teams and Zoom for work and the quality is great.

Overall the product is good, but for the price, I was hoping for a higher quality picture. It works decently, but has a bit of "foggy" pixilation (compared to another web cam I use but whose mic no longer works). I may get used to it eventually, but not while I still do a lot of videoconferencing for my work. So, while it is an affordable "starter" camera, I would recommend going with a more expensive (and higher quality picture quality) product if you have to do a fair amount of "live" meetings with it. If you are only using it occasionally (or for more social pursuits), it's a decent fit. I videoconference and record videos as a part of my work, so I will probably not use this camera as much. This is not to say that the product is horrible, the tripod will work well if you need it and the privacy cover is an excellent addition (these two reasons I opted for it as a mid-level alternative since I can use the standard tripod with other cameras/videocameras). The monitor clamp is excellent quality as well and allows for further movement than my other cameras (yes I own several).
