Really love the design. I don't have to deal with a lock and a padlock assembly. This one's easy to use and has a rubber cap to protect the cylinder from the elements. 10/10 would recommend

For security reasons yes 100%, will save you from theft. But when its cold freezing weather ice will build up where the keys goes so you will have to heat it up for the keys

My pintle hitch has a raised bump cast into it at the back. Had to grind away at the yellow cast piece a bit to create some clearance.Key also finiky.Otherwise pretty good

Nice heavy duty pintle lock. Does have some play with a standard size pintle ring but not enough to cause any problems. I personally installed it upside down to keep the rubber cover / key way out of the weather.

Fits great. Very solid feel. Does the job I wanted. The rubber cover over the lock is a bit stiff and can take work to remove but that’s not a deal breaker for me.

Took Me a minute to figure out how to get the rubber cover off the key hole, but once that was done, this well built Tow Ring lock was just what I was looking for to secure the Pintle Hook on my office trailer.Just add an extra piece of mind that no one will steal my stuff, 'Cause Ya Never Know These days.You got a Pintle Hook???....Get A Pintle Lock...Simple As That Really.

Perfect fit for my M101CDN2 trailer lunette. Should equally fit the M416 lunette. Seems to be heavy duty and should deter lazy thieves looking for an easy opportunity. I would not rely upon it for long term storage protection outdoors as just about anything can be defeated, which is why I store my trailer in the garage. But for those times when you need to make a crime of opportunity difficult, this is a good option.

It works fine and is well made. The only issue is that it seems to be made for a much thicker ring. I am thinking about making up a big washer or something to fill the gap. Otherwise it does the job.
