Absolutely beautiful looking panels. I honestly couldn’t be happier, and I mean that. These are made with real wood strips, and there’s no repeating pattern, which gives them a truly natural and high-quality look. Installation was a breeze, I used small nails straight into the drywall so they’ll be easy to remove later if needed.I was also surprised by how much they help with soundproofing! I didn’t expect a huge difference, but they actually absorb a good amount of sound, making the room feel quieter and more refined. I have been slowly building a production studio where I let my creativity and entertainment flow. I have a podcast setup, a music creation setup including piano, vocals and a set of drums; of course a gaming setup complete with a soundbar speaker system, AND just a space to do writing and other office work. Whatever the case, I always have some kind of sound or music resonating through my space, and while my family enjoys the room also, and sometimes like hearing the fruit of my aspirations, but also sometimes not so much.I decided to check out this 6 pack of slat wall panel set from brand UMIACOUSTICS which offers both decorative substance, but also quality sound diffusion. The panels are a black fabric grain, but come in multiple colours from the brand. They are firm to the touch but with soft outer surface from my examination so far.I have not yet installed all of them on two sides of my walled space (3 per wall, a total of 6 panels included) as while I know I ordered the correct size (47.2 x 23.6), I still have some other outlets and things on these walls to size. But just laying some of them up against the walls, family members say they already hear less sound coming from the previously noisy space.So overall, I am pretty hyped about these panels and am quite confident they will do the job they are intended for. They also look really great, and should last a long time and still look good. 5 stars.

These panels look good, they aren't thick enough to really trap a whole lot of sound and prevent it from getting out of a room but will still serve to deaden the sound reflections of a room and tame it.

I really like those panels, they are very easy to install, you can cut them to fit the wall size. Very light weight and well built. My wall looks great once I finish the project. No smell detected. Definitely worth. Sound quality did improve after the installation.

These are fairly good acoustic panels. They work great dampening echos in smaller and medium size rooms where you are doing audio recording.They are light and easy to hold up while you're mounting them. They're mounted by adhesive, so if you don't want something permanent, go get some command strips to hold them up.Unless you are buying several packs to do your whole set of walls on your set, I suggest trying them out before you permanently mount them. I ended up having to move a couple of them for better results because my first try didn't do the job. BTW: these are light enough to be put on your ceiling with command strips so that's a massive plus.A pretty good value!This item is a RECOMMEND!

Acoustic paneling is designed for sound absorption not to make a space soundproof as it states in the title. With that said, these provide a very nice look and design to a space for the removal of high frequencies and echoes in a space that may require that. They are simple to hang and set. They look nice and offer decent sound absorption. For the price, 6 panels are a good deal at these sizes. So far, I let mine air out in the studio for almost a month before hanging them up so I did not notice a smell if any at all. The cost is good and the value is good.

These acoustic panels are well made and they look really nice. They’re listed as “sound proof” and, of course, these are not. These kind of panels are for echo and sound deadening, but they are not going to make a room sound proof. They really should remove that claim from the listing. However, if you’re not expecting sound proof, these are great quality. We installed them on a wall in our music room to improve the acoustics and eliminate echo. They look attractive and expensive. We’re very pleased. These are a good value for what you get, and they’re easy to install.

These acoustic panels do a solid job of reducing echo while looking sleek. They were easy to put up and made a noticeable difference in my space. Great for a home office, studio, or anywhere you want better sound without sacrificing style!

These "UMIACOUSTICS 6 Packs Acoustic Panel" are an excellent solution for controlling room sound in home studios. They are relatively thin, and therefore easy to hang, and still offer enough sound absorption to be effective. They are perhaps a little less effective than the "egg crate" type foam often used for this purpose, but look infinitely better. I currently have installed behind a drum kit in a large rehearsal space to reduce some of the reflection of the drums into the room, and it makes a noticeable difference, particularly when doing live off the floor type recordings. I have also put a couple up in our "vocal booth" (which is actually a bedroom that's carpeted with lots of soft surfaces)-- not sure I can tell much of a noticeable difference in this room, although in fairness I only put up two panels on the largest wall in the room. High WAF on these panels because they look decent. I did notice at the time of writing of this review, that the black version of this panel has disappeared, leaving only the dark blue and tan versions, which is a bit of a shame, as black is the colour of choice (for myself anyway).

Note: it's important to do your own research on acoustic treatment to determine what works and what doesn't and what will work in your situation. These specific panels are not sound proof at all as listed, but I knew that going in. What they can help with is mid and high frequencies at the first reflection points in your room, this is to assuming you are considering these for mixing audio. Beyond that they look good aesthetically, and can give yours studio, podcasts, Hi-Fi listening room etc an air of professionalism? At least a nice neat look anyways! For me I think they are worth it, for that alone.

I got this for my daughter who is into music production/mixing and wanted some improvement to her small room for sound quality. These look amazingly decent and according to her, there was immediate sound improvement especially in cutting out/reducing some of the echoes. Of course these will not provide professional sound proofing, but works decently for small home studio. I also was able to cut through to resize them vertically to fit the wall height. Decent size, weight, and functionality for the cost. They do not come with glue or tape. I used a combination of 2 sided Nano tape and command strips. Holding well so far.
