Clear plastic body cracks around screws too often. Even if your conscious about not screwing it too tight, it still cracks. I used it maybe fifhteen times before the first time cracking. Call the Rotovac company , ordered a new clear plastic body for around ninety dollars. After using the new replacement body for about ten times, it cracked again. This time rotovac said I need to buy the rebuilt kit. They no-longer sell the body, by itself. The cost of the rebuilt kit is 188.00 dollars. You heard me right, 188.00 dollars. It's now setting in my garage. Also the pressure hose going to the tool is too skinny in diameter. It bends and crimps which wears out the hose. I had to reinforce the pressure hose by taking a stand 100 psi pressure hose, splitting it, and putting it around the existing hose.Another problem is the water streaming out of the head is never even. Yes , tried cleaning it often, and that still doesn't work. If found a guy on Youtube who was able to fix the problem so what. I called rotovac about that problem they had no solution. If your looking for a upholstery tool , keep looking!

Sapphire cannot sell you a replacement valve, you now have to buy an entire tool. What a rip off. Anything to hurt small business. They have Parts to make new ones, but none for people to repair used upholstery tools. Last sapphire product I'll buy.

Great hand tool, if you are buying in the UK don't expect great customer support from the UK distributor. Solution hose pipe (internal ) broken, not kept in stock and then a massive £75 plus vat if and when it arrives! For a piece of plastic pipe and two connectors under 2ft long...
