I order a 3" diameter rod but received and 1.5" diameter rod. This material is good when you get the size that you ordered.

I used a three inch diameter piece to machine some bushings for fishing rod holders, it machined great in my lathe. Would buy again

The material is perfect the only issue it's not any where near round more like oval. I don't want to say the manufacturer caused it I believe more it was smashed under something or was in a very hot place for a while.
