I bought the kayak to use on Lake Huron. It's great. Paddles effortlessly even into the wind. Tracks nice and straight. Very stable. Not bad to carry, 50#, but I decided to invest in the balloon tire carrier to wheel it over the sand.

One star review is for bad shipping, kayak appears to be 5 stars but would need to take it in the water to confirm.Between this and all the badly packed and damaged vinyl I'm starting to think Amazon is doing this on purpose... Have already cancelled Prime but this would have been another stake in it's dead corpse.Kayak has all the features you'd expect and then some with the dry storage bag, bungees and center console. Seat cushion is way beyond my previous yak and will give it a dry run. Hopefully can resolve the damaged parts without having to return the whole unit which would be a pain.

We were looking at several different kayaks to purchase when we came across the Pungo 120 and 125. They had excellent reviews so we thought we would give them a shot. We had read several reviews where they arrived damaged, but this was not our experience. We ordered the 120 for my wife and the 125 for myself and both showed up in perfect condition. We took them out one evening just before sunset and wow what a difference from our old dolphin kayaks. These guys being 12 foot track better and are much faster on the water than our old 10 footers. The adjustable seat and cockpit make it stand out from the rest. They also have a rear bulkhead with dry storage that a lot of others don’t have. We could not be happier with our decision to purchase the Pungo.

I wanted to go up in size from my Pelican 10ft. kayak. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money to buy an Eddyline or something equivalent in price. So, I looked around.I came across this Wilderness System Pungo 12'2" kayak. I read raving reviews and decided to purchase one. I'm so glad I did! This kayak is so easy to maneuver, it is quick on the water, paddles easily, and maintains a straight line very well. It's not too heavy for me to handle.I have no problems at all keeping up with my friends in nicer and more expensive kayaks. This is, by far, the best kayak for the price! I have taken 30 trips since it arrived in June of this year.Zero regrets! Love it!

This Kayak earns the reputation of being the best of it’s class for recreational kayaks. It is very stable. Felt right at home from the moment I sat inside. It glides and tracks through the water like butter. The seat, with all its adjustable features allowed me to paddle longer than usual with no soreness to my back. I have lower back troubles, but with this seat I experienced none even no pain the next day. I have the teal Pungo and it’s true to the color, beautiful. Can’t wait to get out on the water again. Definitely a must buy if recreational kayaking is your aim.

The Wilderness Systems PUNGO 120/125 is hands down the best Kayak at this price point on the market for 2020. Certainly one of the best if not the best seats, with adjustable lumbar, thigh rise etc all while seated. Foot rest design is easy to adjust while paddling. Kayak is stable has a great secondary edge, good glide and tracking. The only real negatives are minor. The Kayak sits very low, so in rough water you are going to get water inside. The removable dash makes it hard to get in and out of the kayak if you have long legs. Of course you can take it off. The cup holders are too shallow to keep your drink in with out falling out if you lean to one side or the other. The water proof dash container will cook your phone if you store it there, or put a cool towel over it like i do to keep it from overheating. Lastly the shipping packaging is a joke, WS needs to do a better job of packaging to prevent damage. I was lucky mine was not damaged considering the cardboard and plastic were barely even hanging on, let alone protecting it in anyway. Good luck getting one however, took 2 months due to the high demand. Thanks COVID.

I had purchased a Pungo 125 and loved it so much I got a Pungo 120 for my wife, and she loves it. This is a very stable kayak that tracks very well. The cockpit is large and roomy and seat back and bottom are independently adjustable for best comfort. The dashboard is great with plenty of spaces to put drinks and phone etc. The dash board can also be removed easily for extra room to fit a child or a dog with no problem paddling. The rear storage hatch is large and roomy. This kayak is wider than most so I would suggest a paddle at least 95 in or 240 cm as they say in the kayak game. We have 6 kayaks in our family fleet from Preceptions to Pelicans and the Pungos are hands down the best rides. The only thing I can say that's a small negative when buying kayaks online to have shipped is to expect some scratches or scuffs on delivery. They are packaged in very lite weight card board with plastic wrap that doesn't offer a whole lot of protection. Nothing a little bit of sanding with asuper fine grit sandpaper can't fix. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.
