First was kind of skeptical about the size, but when it came and I put it out on a small patio it fit perfectly.have been burning "duraflame weekday " logs cut in half so they fit burn time about thirty minuets .tried firewood but the chiminea started to spew sparks and ash all over . went back to even burning wax logs. happy so far

The item itself is well-made and very cute. It's just smaller than expected and the stand is quite flimsy. If this is medium sized, I would hate to see the one labeled small. It seems quite pricey for its size. Still, we will use it and, as I said, it is very nice-looking and sturdy, apart from the stand.

I did read other reviews and it was pointed out that it was small and yet was quite a high price. I bought it anyway, I use it from time to time. I had a "real" chimenea a couple years ago. That was used a lot, this one not so much. I do like the "pottery/ceramic" version of chimenea's but I made a mistake, its just too small. The picture I enclose is a bit of cardboard burning out the top ( I made a wire surround on the top to stop burning paper ash coming out the top).PROS:It looks good. (Maybe I'll grow strawberries in it).It sits well on the stand.Really easy to move (cos its so small)CONS:Did I say it was too small?It did crack, nothing serious (to tell the truth the full sized one I used to have had a crack as well, but we had it for several years, so nothing to worry about).
