Console turns on, and popped up on screen. After pairing the controller we found out that none of the buttons worked except for the joysticks. After picking up a new controller the system starts to flicker the image on the screen off and on until it just says no signal. We've tried quite a few tvs/hdmi cables/etc and nothing helps this. The only way to get it to stop is to power it down for awhile and turn it back on, but it comes back to flickering after less than an hour of being on. We picked this console up for our kid because we used to play rock band but didn't have our old 360 console anymore. Whoever "refurbished" this item definately didn't do that. Absolute trash.

Everything is working and I am happy with my purchase. I had to clean my controllers. Video game included was a nice surprise. The package was not handled with care care and I didn't notice any labels indicating that the items inside were fragile however the items were packed well enough that they all survived any damage to the box during shipping.
