The product seems to be ok but not great. Little things like certain parts just don't fit right and the worst part...No screws for the top or center screw for tightening. So, I am going to return them. Yup...I did say "Them"...that's right. I bought 2 and their both going back...

The kit came without a tailpiece! I'm just gonna have to figure out a fix for it. Imo it's not worth the hassle to return it. The rest looks fine but super upset that they didn't include tailpiece.

It doesnt come with a tension screw, or wood screws for top. But otherwise a quality kit. If it's new project you will also need a soundwell.

Cone was damaged, had a dent, and the lip was bent in several spots. The cover plate was warped and did not sit flat. I didn’t dare try to screw it down for fear I would strip the screw holes on my instrument. Put my old plate back on instead and I’m sending this all back.

This product is mediocre. The pros and cons are fairly even from my perspective. Buy with caution and forethought that it is not the complete DIY set of equipment I thought it was for my acoustic to resonator conversion.Note: I am no luthier. I have a fairly decent set of carpentry and mechanical skills. I have a fully equipped workshop for the weekend warrior. I started with an old Yamaha acoustic guitar (FG 75) and tried to convert it into a reso - not a dobro. Here are the pros and cons:Pros - 1. A decent set of parts that you need to convert your acoustic to a reso. 2. The parts look pretty and shiny. 3. Other reviewers have said the reso sounded good after completion.cons- 1. Build quality. Parts were not straight (but not bent in transit). Cone had a hole in it. Bridge area needed to be filed down. 2. Incomplete set - not "everything you need." As noted in other reviews, you will need to purchase other bolts and screws to make this work. Most importantly, if you are doing an acoustic to reso conversion, you will need to build a soundwell or some type of framework in which to seat these parts. This is not for the beginner or the weekend warrior. This part of the project appears to require a luthier. In summary, If you wanted to change your current reso using these parts, or if you wanted to do a very dirty acoustic to reso conversion, these parts are probably fine (keep in mind bridge height, action, etc if you aren't making a dobro). But if you're expecting to make a good sounding, playable reso from your old acoustic in a couple of weekends like I wanted, I would say reconsider (and I hate writing discouraging reviews).

Fast delivery!Does not come with screws! The spider/cone screw is an M3 50mm long bolt and scratch plate screws fit the cover. :)The spider needed the legs slightly straightening and a quick wetsand to flatten it properly, bridge slot needed filing at the sides to accommodate the saddles and the cone had a few small dents but was flat.Sounds good, which is the main thing..

Pretty good... Adjustments are needed to make it right, but I like the quality.
