I worked with this thing for hours trying to figure why it wouldn't access the SD card. I was about to give it zero stars. Then I put the SD card in a "reader" and put it in my computer. Well it turns out the SD was bad. I put a different one in it and it works now. Still having issues with some apps that worked at first, then stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled the apps a couple times and they still don't work.

I was drawn to this MP3 player because of its small size. It’s roughly half the size of my phone. It’s nice to know that I can listen to something while traveling & preserve my phone battery.I didn’t find it very intuitive to operate & also struggled with getting files onto it — but it’s not too hard. The sound quality without headphones is pretty tiny. Using wireless headphones it’s much better: I would say good, not great. The small size will make it worthwhile for me to bring when I travel.

Considering this cost less than $70, this little player is great. I would consider this a great transition piece for someone looking to switch from online to offline music listening. Comes pre-loaded with all the streaming services shown in the picture - so you won't need to sign into your google account to get started. Will support up to 2TB media cards but may have to be Fat32 formatted (I have them formatted that way for another player - so I haven't checked if ExFat works). It's also easy to sideload apps like Onkyo's excellent HF Player app. Sideloading helps to keep this offline (if that's what you are looking for).I have an expensive, Sony DAP and I prefer this for these reasons:1. Starts up quick. The Sony takes several minutes to start, this one is about 30 seconds or less (haven't timed it, but it's quick).2. It runs Android 13 (Sony is 12).3. It's snappier and more responsive than the Sony.4. Seems to get better battery life - haven't run a full run-down test yet, but this player holds on to its battery. Plus, with it starting up quick, you don't have to think about setting the built-in shut down timer to 10 minutes to conserve battery. The Sony would take half that time just to start up.Comes with applied screen protector and a case in the box. It's a lightweight, plastic build, so it's easy to carry around in your bag or pocket and for what it costs, it's not something you have to treat as precious. I've listened with high-end headphones, and it sounds good to me. I have no complaints on the sound quality - though I am not as picky as I used to be. One drawback that I can see is that it charges slow, but if you are in the habit of overnight charging, this won't be an issue.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this player for anyone looking to move to a dedicated music player. About to pick up a second one for my kid who is looking to do just that.

I just received this device and I am very disappointed at the false information displayed in the Amazon site. For starters, I bought this device because I wanted FM radio. In the web site it says it has FM radio. If you ask the question, Amazon answers also that it has FM radio. There is a picture in the Amazon site that says "recordable FM radio: you can easily access the news and music stations that you want to listen to". Well, guess what, it has no radio. This device is like a super cheap android phone, so you can download apps, and you can download a radio app to stream radio. Not only is it a lie, but it's also ridiculous. I purchased this to use it outside, on the street, where there is no wifi, so how does this thing have radio if you can't listen to the radio while on the go.The second lie I've noticed is that it does not have 80 gb, but less than 9, and, right off the bat, 2.6gbs are used, so there are only 6gb of free memory. It also comes with crappy sd card of 128gb (those cards that cost two cent and probably last two days). What a shameful lie!Oh, as regards the user manual, which I was trying to use to ascertain where the FM radio was (there was none, though), there really are no instructions. Basically, it's like having a cheap android phone, which means having to register with a google account in order to download apps, etc. I am trying to delete the google account information, and there is no way I can do it, but there is no user guide. I try to fabric reset the device by using a pin in a hole, it does not work. I haven't figured out how to delete my account to return it. If I were you, I would not go around with a "cell like" device that request a google account and that anyone can hack into.Oh, btw, the internal speaker is so bad it makes me cringe. I mean, obviously it's a small device, but still, a smartwatch has a more powerful and clear speaker. This one sounds really bad.I have stopped trying it out further, because I am already put off by these findings.

I was attracted to the price and reviews for this item. The apps kept crashing after loading music and the blue tooth was very difficult to connect. It wouldn't connect to two of my earbuds and finally got it connected to a third pair. Storage isn't intuitive either between the SD card and the internal memory. Would not recommend purchasing this product.
