I use this when I am fishing on my kayak, it is a nice size and has lots of different functions. It has made my trips more enjoyable because I can take my music with me and hopefully catch lots of fish...

I haven't used this much yet so that's why I'm only giving it four stars, but it has potential for 5 stars. It has great storage space which was my main concern and all the features have worked correctly so far. It's easy to use and for the money I think is a great value. I bought this to replace a Sony that started to glitch out on me after a few years. It would shut off after like 15 minutes and I had to reset it so many times the reset button no longer worked.

Although it supports video, it doesn't recognize MP4s. So if you've got a lot of music in MP4 format, you'll have to convert those to another format like MP3 (which you can do in a program like VLC). As for the physical device, it's got that shiny and slick coating to it that gets very visible fingerprints on it. Other than those two minor flaws, this thing will do exactly what's advertised. Make sure you use the provided cable to transfer files, or you might not get the prompt to enable file transferring between your PC and this device. You can also plug in any 3.5mm headphones or earplugs to play the audio, not just the provided earplugs. I can't speak for the Bluetooth functionality since I don't have a pair of headphones that connects that way. If anyone was wondering, in terms of functions, what you see is what you get: you can't add any apps to this. So don't expect to be able to install whatever app you use to listen to music.Basically, it's a good MP3 player if you were looking for one you can plug in headphones to.

We went looking for an MP3 player that could handle the abuse a tween throws at it and this was just what we wanted!The player is solidly constructed and handled all of the standard file formats we threw at it. The sound is great, and once he got the hang of the menu and functionality our tween reports it to be really simple. His only complaint is that it isn't a phone... but he knows why he can't have a phone. :)If you're looking for a budget MP3 player that is aesthetically pleasing, stands up to a little abuse and gets the job done... I think you should give this item a try.

This unit is way better than my sandick player. Made of aluminum and feels solid. Sounds great and the battery lasts for days.well worth the price, and I would buy again

This MP3 player is exactly what I was looking for! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and delivers great sound quality for the price. The battery life is outstanding—I can listen to hours of music without worrying about recharging, which makes it perfect for long commutes or workouts. The expandable storage is a game-changer, allowing me to carry my entire music library everywhere. The Bluetooth feature is also a great bonus and works seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Easy to transfer my MP3/WAV files from my computer to the device ... easy to create folders for specialized song sets (I suggest you don't go the route of playlists ... though I havent tried it ... instead, if you want a set of a specific genre/artist, then create a separate folder for that genre/artist). It works awesome, and you can play randomly from a specific folder if you want things narrowed, I have loaded over 6 gigs of songs on this thing and it is functioning awesomely!). The bluetooth connection to my main home stereo system was also super easy to pair ... it is running the tunes on my home stereo awesomely! This thing is exactly what I needed to replace the MP3 player I bought over 15 years ago (whose battery has died to the point of where you charge it for 16 hours to just get 1 hour of play time) .... This thing is awesome if all you are looking for is a music player (my case). And it has the added benefit of easy connection to bluetooth devices.

The reviews say it has great sound. I'm afraid I have to disagree. It has an OK sound. I've tried all the EQ settings and used the custom setting to make my own but it still doesn't sound as good as my old one I bought 7 years ago for less money. It'll work for me but ............ It does have a lot of memory though and seems well built. I haven't used it enough to comment on battery life. Easy to move music from my computer to this unit too. It's just that the sound quality is so-so.
