Nice finish, frets are medium in size, true to description. It did need the fret ends rounded. I had to file a few frets slightly with a crowning tool. Bone nut. Nice finish. Over all great for the price. I would buy it again.

I had purchased a neck a few years ago on Amazon and was very disappointed in the quality of the frets mainly. They didn’t even come near the edge on many of them. I read many reviews lately and it appeared the quality has come a long way so I purchased this one hoping it wasn’t a bad idea. I was very surprised at the quality improvements, the frets were very good only two needed a tap to seat and of course fret ends were ok just needed the ends cleaned up. The neck had a back bow maxed out truss rod adjusted was just about ready to return then I remember reading on a review that it had a dual action so after turning the nut the other way it straightened right out nicely. The quality is very good and for $50 you can’t go wrong with it. You will have to do a little work on it, but sure beats $300 for a fender. You will have to do a little drill fit for the tuners to fit flush. I installed them used a straight edge and tapped the back of the tuners with a fret hammer just enough to mark for drilling worked perfectly. This is a Squier strat body I have but I have several Fender Tele’s and this neck is a close comparison in the play ability, of course not quite as good quality but real close and perfect for a Squier or a build. Mine had a warped neck so this was a good cheap fix. I recommend it if you have the skills to make the needed work for it to fit and function as it should. Oh almost forget the nut is definitely plastic I used my original neck nut as a replacement, I would definitely change it out at some point but it works ok.

Great neck, especially for the price. Overall construction is very good. I expect necks in this price range to need some fretwork, this neck needed very little. It only had a few slightly high frets and didn't require a full level dress and crown. It could have been used as is. The fret ends were a little sharp, an easy fix. The nut appears to be bone and is cut well. I did polish out some tool marks. The slots were a little high but very playable as is. I like the matte finish but you can finish yours any way you like. Anytime you work with a neck and body from different suppliers you can run into fit issues. This particular neck was a loose fit in my 30-year-old squier bullet. Some very thin shims were needed. I had two good surprises. The truss rod is a dual action type and the fretboard is a 9.5 – 14 compound radius. All in all, it's a super good deal.

Be careful as neck radius is actually 14”. Other than that excellent value.

Nice neck. Frets could be dressed a little better. They are a bit rough at some of the ends, but that’s easy to correct. If they had been a little better I would have given them a 5

I have a good size collection of guitars and did not want to pay another $300+ for a "Fender" neck. As a result, I decided to give the Fendirocik neck a try since it met my spec requirements but unfortunately it hadn’t received any customer feedback. Well, the neck came today, and I must say, I am quite impressed with the quality. The finish is a matte vintage color and the overall look and feel of the neck is smooth and great. The neck is straight, the frets are level, and the fret ends are NOT sharp. They actually feel great. The heel measured 2.24” or 56.9 mm, and the fingerboard did test to be a 14” radius which is what I wanted. I am not kidding, if you don’t care about having an official Fender headstock, you got to check this neck out for the price. I have not attached the neck to the body of the guitar yet but the neck fits perfectly in the neck pocket. This neck will be added to an ASH ESP ST-213 body. Maybe I lucked out and received a good one but for 60$, this neck is a no-brainer. I Love it!!!I just noticed that the NEW spec for this neck now says that the radius is 9.5". I won't be able to confirm that point until I buy a second neck. The review below was added on 12/24/2024 when I finally purchased a 2nd neck. I thought it was useful information so I included it in this reviewThis was the second time that I purchased one of these necks. The first neck was great and to my surprise, this one was great as well. The only discrepancy I found from the ad was the neck radius. As you can see from my picture, the neck radius at the 12th fret is 14", NOT 9.5". That is great for me because I prefer a flatter neck. The only other difference between the first neck is the fact that the wood seems a bit softer and lighter. The price also dropped $10. The frets were level, and the neck was straight. I did not need to adjust with the trust rod at all. A few of the frets needed light dressing to remove slightly sharp edges on the fret ends. Not overhang, just rounding of the fret ends slightly in a few areas. The nut obviously needed to be cut further for a nice low feel on the strings, and the tops of the nut ends needed to be rounded for comfort. The thickness of the heel was 55.8 mm which was perfect for my Squire body. The neck fit with very little play and sounded great. I must say, for $49 bucks I couldn't be happier. If you don't mind a matte finish, and a non-Fenderish style headstock... this might be the one!!

Ok neck for the money. Beautiful vintage finish. Very flat fretboard. Nut was a little tall. Frets needed dressedBe prepared to do some finishing work on the frets. mine had a lot of fret rash. The frets needed leveled, and I spent a lot of time deburring the fret ends. Then the neck cured, or dried some more. The width shrank, and I need to dress the fret ends again. Lol.. I don’t really mind because this is a very affordable neck. Just be prepared to do some work on it if you want it flat and smooth.Fret leveling and rod adjustments will be needed. It is a beautiful neck. No arguing that.I would likely spend a little more money next time. And hope for less finishing work.
