They dont break or snap, but they are not very rigid. Overall they work for my purposes, supporting plant cuttings, but i wish they were a bit stiffer.

I actually cut these and used them as flying stands for some miniatures and they were perfect!

NOT 1/8 inch diameter, they are 3 mm diameter. They appear to be good quality acrylic rods but they are 3mm diameter, NOT 1.8 inch as advertised. I planned to use them as alignment pins for acrylic parts already drilled with 1/8 inch alignment holes and a 3mm rod / pin fits too loosely.

Flexible and works pretty well for end-lit fiber optic effects. Although this was listed as 1/8" (ie 3.175mm), these measure 4mm diameter on my micrometer and that appears to be consistent throughout the length of the rod.

These are really nice and can be perfect for many applications however know that they are not very structural or rigid and have flex to them. They aren't soft like rubber or anything, but they will bend under load. This may be useful or a problem depending on the application.
