This heat shrink tube works well and shrinks down nicely to a tight seal with included sealant that closes off the openings on the end. Once the tubing has shrunk, it’s still pliable and not rigid so it’s great for sealing up end terminations and be able to place a bend on the wire. I was able to successfully get a piece over the end of a frayed lighting cable and shrink down to mate with the wire giving the wire an extended life. The pieces are plenty long enough for most terminations and connections and the tube wall is thick enough to cover up your terminations without the wire coming through the jacket. The pieces come nicely packed in a sealable container that snaps closed on three sides keeping everything together.

I shrink tube all my wiring when ever I have a project. Always grab the stuff with adhesive in it. For the price this product is great. It comes in its own dispensable box which helps you keep track of the tubing. The tubing is very elastic and also durable. It's works well with the heat and takes about under a minute to really secure. And the lasting effect is really strong. I like that you get a ton of it too in this kit. You can never have enough. The adhesive is strong and luckily when it cools it’s no longer sticky which I was afraid it would be. The more the tube is allowed to shrink, the thicker the result is. I thought it would leave a sticky residue but rest assured it does not! Great amount and variety of sizes for the price!

This is an invaluable for anyone who make wiring connections. I have many model trains and have to sometimes repair wiring on the locomotives or cars, and this helps insulate the connections. Has many sizes so that you can use the appropriate tube. Love this. Make sure you use all four locks for closing so that you don't have to resort all the many sizes. You also have a variety to colors to choose from.

Good color and size variety. Provides easy visible identification of wiring that standard black and red kits cannot. Offered at a way better price than what I can find locally.

I do it all around my house. Whether I am fixing the cars, electrical, appliance repairs, and much more, I am always in need of heat shrink tubing. It provides a protective and attractive finish to various wire splices, connections, etc.I try to use 3:1 shrink ratio because there are times I need to get the tubing onto a wire by pushing it over the wire connector, which is much larger. I have to bring various sizes of long strips to try each one and then cut them off. This kit is a welcome addition to my tool bag. I'm able to simply throw this in my kit and I now have MANY different sizes I can quickly try. I have listed some highlights of this kit below.✔ - Pre-cut to 1 3/4" length✔ - Strong material. I am able to use pliers to widen an end even more I need to and it doesn't tear out (see photo)✔ - A nice variety of colors and diameters are included.✔ - It's a large amount of pieces for the price, making it a good value.X - The case is a bit flimsy, but latches on three of the opening sides ensure it won't open accidentally.I am very happy with this new addition to my tool bag. I recommend it.I hope you found this review helpful.

These heat shrink tubes are really good quality with adhesive that seals during heating. The plastic box is really handy - keeps everything organize. My only complaint ... I wish the pieces were longer - each piece is about an inch long. The length covers most splices and it forms a very tight seal with proper heat. Works as intended.

I ordered this set of heat shrink tubing for when I make splices. I use to just use butt splice crimps and say "that's good enough" until a good friend told me all he uses are marine butt splices with heat shrink tubing built in. Well, I'm a firm believer after starting to use them, however, some of them are expensive. I'm going to buy some good quality butt splices, and cover them with these pre-cut heat shrink tubing. Also, I love that these are color coded too. However, I'm still partial to solid black. I like that these are in a case and organized well. The case is thin enough to fit in my drawer of my toolbox that I keep all of my other electrical stuff in. I feel this set is a good value.
