This saw is a beast. Once assembled properly (not too hard, just make sure the chain cutting edge is facing the right way or you'll be disassembling it again). It seems to work amazingly well. I have a (new) Stihl271 ms I will do a field test with and compare the two shortly...but this seems to cut better initially, and cost about 1/4 the amount.

This saw has worked good for me thus far, it is good material cuts trees like butter; as with all saws just keep it out of dirt and grit , keep it well oiled maintenance and three to four pulls and it's running. I planning to cut some more trees and stumps left from hurricane Helene.

while the cahin saw runs well there is a major saftey issue. the chain break does not ingage or activate when the saw kicks back. This is a huge safety issue and the manufacture is not offering any repaires or refunds. so stay away from this manufacture !!!

I have run 3 tanks of gas through this saw and it is pretty dang sweet. I've cut a red oak stump that was bigger than the bar. Other large red and white white oak trunks and some decent size cherry. It has handled it all phenomenally! The down sides have been some quality issues. My choke doesn't stay pulled out, but I can set the throttle wide open, hold the choke out and pull the cord with the saw on the ground and my foot in the handle, not a big deal, probably just a one off with my individual saw. The other thing is a little bigger issue with the bar tensioner screw. I've noticed running it that it's just vibrating and spinning freely. It hasn't been an issue, yet. This isn't a $600 stihl. Not a saw for a professional. There is some slop. But I couldn't be happier to have a saw that can handle my fire wood needs.

Two months back,I arrived at our northwoods property and realized my chainsaws were back home, 6 1/2 hours away, I needed a saw . Consumer saws from a big box stores , would cost $200 and from my experience are under powered and truly disposable saws, they simply do not hold up. I spotted a black Friday deal and thought why not. It was a lot less than $200. When the saw arrived, I was pleased but still skeptical. Ounce assembled I fueled up and began cutting. I was impressed with the power and torque this saw puts out. I've run chainsaws for 50 years, and this saw is as powerful as I would expect from a 62cc saw. The chain provided was sharp and held its edge much longer than I expected. When it was finally needed I was able to easily hand file the chain. I've felled trees and cut more than 4 cord of firewood so far. This saw is a great value and seems to be holding up well to hard use . I've already ordered a second one.

The first and second time I used it it did great then the next day I tried to use it it wouldn’t start . I asked for a trouble shooting manual and they give me one about long range shooting in the military. You can’t make this crap up.

Used on down oak tree. This saw cut circles around stihl. Brother-in-law a nonstop woodcutter recommended saw. Easy to start, powerful . Easy set up. Cuts up wood like it’s butter, chips flying! New chain will stretch so tighten once in a while. Seven tanks of gas and still sharp. Friends impressed! Buying more see picture under Roger review. Fairly lightweight up for an old person like me. Buy one now!!!!! Update 02/2025. Still in love with this saw! No problems starting or chain issues. Looks like new yet. Cutting wood for next year most everyday, my big name saws are sitting on shelf. Still so happy with value for money .

I just used this saw to rip through a fallen tree branch that made my 18" Poulan cry. It went together easily, started right up and idles smoothly without needing to be messed with. Great value, so far! We'll see if it holds up over time. The assembly manual is laughable. If you understand how chainsaws go together, you won't have a problem. If you don't, then maybe you shouldn't be running a chainsaw!
