Punches way above the price point. Feels great, setup very low action.

Looks great feels great the base is smaller than a Squires so it's very loose in neck pocket but plays very well but it needs string trees for g and d

Honestly one of the highest quality budget necks I’ve got

Looked nice, very heavy and THICK, not what I'm used to but wanted it to work. Just too much fret buzz all over for me to correct, didn't bother, think may have been slightly twisted. Fret ends not that sharp. For the price some may get lucky, wasn't me. Good luck.

So I bought this so I could experiment with some headstock painting and neck refinishing options, just as a throw away neck, but it came it is actually really good quality. I'd compare it to the neck on my Guild Surfcaster both in terms of weight but more importantly in terms of finish. Super silky smooth finish! The frets are pretty good too. I'd say the nut is a bit cheap, but overall it far exceeded expectations, especially for the price!

I have been on a Chinese neck binge of late building partscasters. This neck is interesting. In terms of the fretwork, it still needed to be leveled but the ends were by far the best dressed of the recent necks I had bought. The sides of the fingerboard were buttery smooth. Speaking of smooth, the sanding on it was also very good - I estimate 320 grain, so ready for finishing. The neck has a two way truss rod and it was not hard to adjust it to be dead straight. The wood is figured in very interesting ways for a piece of regular maple - there are interesting grain patterns on the fingerboard that pop beautifully with some Tru Oil, but there are also some wood grain on the back of the headstock that a factory might consider a blemish. I suspect that these necks are factory blems for MM Sterlings. The least desirable part of the neck is the rubbish nut. Not only is it a plastic piece of junk, it was installed so tightly that I had to saw and chisel it out of the slot. I wish they would sell these Chinese necks with the nut not installed - would make life so much easier.EDIT: this neck is marketed as a replacement neck for an "ST" styled guitar, but it has a Music Man styled neck heel that will not full seat into a Strat neck pocket. You might be able to get it to work. Measure your scale length CAREFULLY.

I don’t know what neck some of these reviewers bought but the neck I bought the frets are even and although it’s a maple neck the frets are installed as if it had binding, the fret slots don’t even go all the way to the edge, well worth the money.

Needs a bit of finishing, slightly sharp fret edges. Love the 4x2 head; makes it quite dinky. Using it for a cigar box guitar. After a little bit of fettling it plays really well. Will buy again.

The description lists this as having a scale length of 633mm, and several people answered my question about it as it having a 24.75" scale length. It has neither, it has a 25.5" scale length. So I will be returning it because of that. It seems well made for the price, though the frets are smaller than I would like.I like 4x2 headstocks, but needed a 24.75" scale length for the guitar I'm building. I don't know why none of the Chinese companies can make a 24.75" scale conversion neck. The custom ones I have made are very nice, but sometimes I just want to throw together something cheap.

I like how the guitar neck looks. I bought two so far and hope they keep making more so I can get another one when I build another guitar. After giving it a few touch ups and intonate it and it’s ready to play. Worth the price
