It's not great, but it will have to work for my home built guitar. The frets look ok but I think the inlays are stickers. When you look up close you can see it's not up to par with the originals. For $150 more I can get a much nicer neck with a beautiful guitar around it. Chinese yea but they are nice. I was expecting the same quality. But oh well it's better than I could have made.

I was hoping to get the build I had planned done but now I have to redo the body. Thanks for that. 🙄Update: downgrading to one star from two because they're extremely brittle as well. Tried installing the tuners and one of them cracked it like an egg. I've never had that happen before out of the dozen I've built. DON'T BUY THIS JUNK!

I've used a few of these necks for a few builds. They're real nice necks and bonus, they're reasonably priced. I haven't gotten a bad one yet. I currently have another in the way. I can't speak to how they fit as a "replacement" neck to a factory guitar. But they work great on my custom builds.

Bought this for a project guitar and the quality (before install) is surprising: no raised frets, no sharp edges, smooth and even finish, no fretboard blemishes…But upon opening it I found on of the headstock horns has a pretty bad ding; both the finish and the wood are dented and smashed. I’ll probably still use it but it’s disappointing. All in all, at least at this point, worth the price. Will update review after install.

This guitar neck will not readily fit all guitars with bolt on design. Ad photo indicated it would fit a Start/Tele style guitar.. it won't without a lot of reworking as the neck is designed for an LP... the stub end is squared and doesn't readily fit the cutout on a Tele style guitar as indicated in Ad photo's. I do think it is high quality (great finish) and otherwise would be higher rated if it fit it's intended purpose.

Ordered this neck for new build Les Paul, at this price wasn't sure of the quality, all other custom shops had a 5 to 7 month wait on necks. I took a chance and ordered this just to see, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality, very nice solid Mahogany that matched my guitar body perfectly. Other than light sanding to fit the neck pocket and a quick job dressing the frets as expected with any neck and it was ready to drop in and finish. One thing to realize in the standard set (glued) neck that I ordered it comes with a 4.5 deg break angle already. Very consistent, have already ordered 2 of these.

Nice straight neck.I leveled the frets and shaved off the fret ends but that was all expected. It plays great and for right into my cheap Les Paul copy.
