The 1.5 inches double ball mount is a heavy duty multi-angle drill base pedestal mounting solution for tablets, cell phones, fish finder and more. It is designed to install directly on a table, cart, desk, in a vehicle, boat, or on any flat surface (complimentary 4 sets of 316 marine grade stainless steel machine screws, lock nuts and sheet metal screws).
Sturdy and Durable - Constructed of Powder-Coated Marine-Grade Aluminum and Stainless Steel Hardware. The mount has been Salt Spray Tested for thousands of hours (including stainless steel bolts and springs) to resist high salt water corrosion. Cast in one piece of aluminum rather than screwed together, it remains strong and durable even in the harshest environments.
Universal Design - Includes two round ball bases and C size 5.5" length double socket arm; The ball and socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability. Perfectly fits 1.5 inches / C size / 38 mm adapters and arms, compatible with RAM Mounts, Arkon, iBolt and others.

I use this to hold my tablet/GPS in while overlanding. Once mounted, this will keep your stuff where you put it. Loosen, move, and tighten, it's that easy. Don't waste your time and money on those smaller cheap types, they will let you down.
