I'm glad I finally found a vent mount for my Garmin 67LM gps that actually does what I need it to do.It is a secure mount (no jiggle/rattle/flopping) like the last couple of mounts that I tried that clipped on the vent louvers.I also tried the CD slot mounting style, and it was a complete waste of money.This one tightens down securely, and holds my 6" Garmin 67LM gps perfectly with no flopping around/etc.It even has a thin layer of 'rubber' on the 'jaws' to make it grip the vent louver you mount it to.Finally!If you are looking for a product that simply works as it should (the way you hope it would), then look no further.This is the one to get.

Call me old fashioned, but I prefer my Garvin GPS to using my phone to get directions. With this attachment to the air vent, I can see the pictures clearly, adjusted according to glare, and navigate safely. It lost one star because it does come off as the attachment loosens. But that's something you can check from time to time to be sure it's on tight.

If your car is equipped with horizontal air vents on the dashboard, this GPS holder is simply inserted in the air vent, quickly tightened and keeps the unit very stable, even over bumpy roads. Its a great improvement over the originally supplied suction cup.

After fighting for years with plastic dashboard disks and suction cups that don't ever stick, this turned out to be the solution for my 2007 Tahoe. Works like a champ, doesn't fall off sitting in the sun, and doesn't impede the air flow from the vent, only changes its direction

I ordered the replacement mount and two days later it arrived. As far as I can see the new item is a better product than the original out of the box one. The replacement fits perfectly and has a spring between the jaws which makes it easier to place and remove. The build quality looks to be on par with the original so i'm pleased with the overall product.

This unit is perfect. Especially for the Garmin GPS unit.Fit perfectly and snugly and have already used it for a long range run. Extremely pleased with the grip and reliability over rough terrain.

This is my second one of these, and it works better on my Corolla vents than others I've tried, like the ones with the long fingers that get soft on warm days and leave the GPS on the floorboards. The only complaint I have, and this is common to all vent mounts, is that the grip simply isn't reliable on slippery-smooth vent fins. I've got one permanently mounted in my car by putting double-sided carpet tape on the fins for the vent mount to grip on, and it works like a charm. This second one is for rental cars that don't come with built-in navigation systems.

I decided to buy this mount because I have a pretty big GPS at 7". I have tried multiple suction-based methods (suction to the dashboard, suction to the back of the GPS, etc) and none have been truly successful.I was excited to try this one because it's NOT SUCTION-BASED and I already have the mounting clip that came with my GPS. While the mount does remain securely attached to the GPS itself, the mount isn't secure to my car's horizontal vents. I guess I'll have to keep shopping around. Oh well.

Was just about to buy a friction-type mount before finding this vent mount. This is perfect...puts the GPS unit at a comfortable height and reach, keeps your view out the windshield clear and unobstructed, and maintains a tight/secure grip to the vent. It's also practically unnoticeable when you remove the GPS unit, unlike a suction cup & pole in the middle of your windshield. For this price it's a no-brainer to get one for each vehicle when using the GPS in multiple cars.

Wow, I'm pleased to give this a FULL FIVE STAR rating. It is such a simple device, yet so perfect. It does exactly as expected, and desired, and it does it so simply, easily, and securely. Seriously, it couldn't be easier to use. And the price, a BARGAIN. It's value is several times it cost. I purchased it to replace my Garmin vent mount ball head which I have mis-placed. This APP2Car ball head vent mount is BETTER that the Garmin. It clamps securely, the best part; and it does so so easily it is almost unbelievable. Such a simple design, other manufactures should be ashamed, APP2Car gets it right. My one concern, which proved unfounded, was that the "prongs" that fit inside the vent seemed really short. I was afraid they were not long enough to grip tightly. Well so far so good. It clamps on very tight, and so easy. Did I mention how EASY it is to use? Well it is. And functional. Going on a trip this week, I will give it the longevity test then. If it fails, you will hear back from me with a revision review. If not, I was satisfied. Bon Voyage.

This one is replaced for my genuine Garmin vent mount that I broke.Very simple and small design, but less chance to break I think.(I had to move the Nuvi between two cars and finally broke the previous one in a hurry.. :'( )although less than a half price (compared to previous one), it grips really steady on the vent.This one supposed not to fit (?!) in my second car, but even there, grips quite well, so very satisfied.Just hope it lasts long from my rough handling. ;)
