These are really nice! I purchased them to put on the back of a bookshelf I installed as a room divider. I wanted them to be a bit more sound proof, and these worked great. I also love the color and look. They are a pale grey and are a nice felt material. They were easy to install, and cut quickly with a box cutter. The adhesive worked well on the smooth, flat surface of the back of the bookcase. These were also the perfect thickness as I needed a barn door to slide closed over the top. The size of these is great too because I spent way less and still covered the surface. My dog did manage to tear off some strips from it when he was bored and unattended, but they still looked okay, and I was able to replace the panel. One note, they do seem to get dirty quickly. You will see in one of the images that the bottom half is dirty simply from our dog leaning on them. But if you won’t have them installed low where dogs can get at them, you won’t have any problems.Images attached are the back of the bookshelves before and after I installed these.

The panels look nice! I had to cut the tops of mine at an angle (with a carpet knife) to accommodate a set of stairs behind my listening couch. But it resulted in a smooth set of edges, and the result looks professional. The panels seem effective in preventing slap echoing. A good result for the price! The adhesive is still an open question. A couple of the planks had to be pressed against the wall again on their second day. I’m not sure I’d want to try sticking these on the ceiling. But used on walls, I’d definitively endorse t(see!

Poorly manufactured inconsistent thicknesses of the patters and bad edges. Also problem with the adhesive not sticking very well. Get what you pay for I guess. We abandoned using these (but as we cut I cannot return) and will be replacing with a wood product. I do not recommended.

These panels really help with noise. They were easy to put up on the wall because they stick on. They are big, so they cover a lot of space. I put them in my room to make it quieter. They are made of good material and seem like they will last. I am a single guy, so noise from my neighbors was a problem. This helped.

I’m planning to install these on the back wall of my home theater room. There are a lot of acoustic panel options out there, but I think these strike a good balance. It’s important to set expectations correctly--these won’t “soundproof” the room, but they do help control high-frequency sound reflections and give the room a more mellow acoustic feel. I think they also look nice and modern. While wooden acoustic panels can be very expensive and low-cost foam panels do next to nothing, I think these panels offer a good balance between cost, aesthetics, and function. Sure, the wood panels look great, but they are significantly more expensive. These panels come very well packaged, so there’s little chance of damage. They feel dense, which is a good sign, and I like the full-back adhesive. So far, I’m happy with them--just waiting to see how they fare on the “wife-acceptance” scale.

I share an office with my wife, sitting with our backs to each other and my voice was bouncing off the wall in front of me going into her microphone. We needed something to cut down on that but didn't want the traditional "egg crate" foam panels and she hates the hex panel look. These did just what we needed, I used a small screw in the corner of each panel instead of using the double sided tape to hold them up. I would rather fill a few small holes rather than patching sheetrock when we decide to take it down since the tape usually shreds the walls. We went with black and it is one solid color (some have colored strands for contrast and we didn't want that).

I purchased this product to cover a wall with damaged paint, with the added benefit of acoustic dampening being an appealing feature. The product exceeded expectations right from the unboxing experience. It was well-packaged with no visible damage, and the installation process was smooth. The adhesive had the right balance of stickiness, offering a secure fit without being difficult to work with.Cutting the material was fairly easy, though I didn’t have the precise tools needed for perfect measurements or flawless straight lines—something that was more on my end. However, one drawback worth mentioning is that the lines on the panels are not perfectly parallel. For those who prefer a meticulous look, this might be a concern. If you’re sensitive to alignment or have a tendency toward perfectionism, a more random pattern might help minimize the issue. At this price point, I expected greater manufacturing precision.Overall, it's a solid product with a few minor limitations depending on your attention to detail.Really though, it is a solid product that did what I needed it to do. Would recommend, but not for an application where absolute visual perfection is expected or required.
