I bought this as a back up and due to the amazing quality, I had to buy a second one for my partner. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for beekeeping equipment.

This did exactly what it was supposed to do. So far I haven't had any stings or bees in get in the hood while using it. It's heavy and hot so keep that in mind when ordering it. Even though you're sweating you'll be safe from bee stings so pick the lesser evil.

I've just been using a veil and gloves with no jacket from Atwoods. It kept them off my face except for one time they found a way in somehow -- that was a bad day. It was when I got several stings through my thick shirt that I knew I needed something more.Anyway, I am impressed with the thick canvas and quality of this jacket. I actually felt protected when I used it. I went ahead and purchased a size up. I'm glad I did. I think the bagginess helps me feel more protected and comfortable. The only thing I worry about is how the hood sits on the top of my head but I doubt they will sting through. I'll probably wear a cap next time anyway. I was for sure protected from stings with this thing. I noticed a bee or two really trying to get me but there was no way they could. I feel so much more at ease working the bees now and I didn't have to spend a lot. I highly recommend.

Heavy materials,great metal zipper ,veil stands up well all around pleased on arrival.Time will tell what I think I know lol!

Jacket is very well designed. Cloth is thick and seems very protective. Hood has strong, durable screen that allows good vision along with protection. Little details are well done, with flaps to cover zipper ends, elastic at sleeve ends, even a cord inside to pull jacket tight at bottom so no insects can enter at waist. This was designed by someone who knows bees and how to dress for the job. I Never write reviews, but I was impressed with this product.

Much heavier weight and better construction than the last one purchased. Strong seams and zippers.The biggest negative but also a big positive is the fabric thickness. Bees can't sting thru it easily, but it's hot when working in 90 degrees! Good product.

Reçu rapidement, la vareuse est bien finie et solide. Je mesure 185cm pour 80kg et la taille XL est bien, ample autour du ventre (serrage à lanière prévu dans la veste) OK aux manches et à la taille. Très content!

Fits as expected and definitely made me feel well protected. I cannot attest to its effectiveness because I wasn’t attacked but I felt very comfortable going into the war zone with this on

Very nice, heavy duty quality. I used this with some white painters pants that I got at Home Depot for about 15 bucks, and some beekeping gloves that I got on here, and that setup allowed me to remove a 50,000 hive from inside my garage walls without getting stung at all. I had a local beekeper enthusiast come and help me with the job and he brought his own head-to-toe suit which he had paid $200 for, and he was very impressed with the quality of this hood and was shocked when I told him the price. It is made of an extremely thick canvas material, unlike the thin cotton of most of the cheap ($30-$50) hoods that I saw on Amazon.For size reference, I am 6' tall 175lb, 41 inch chest, 35 sleeve, 34 waist, and the Large fit me perfectly - if not a little baggy. I normally wear a medium in a lot of coats/jackets, but I wanted to make sure the sleeves were long enough - which I guess didn't matter in the end since I wore elbow-length gloves anyways.
