What does sheerness mean? I think this Baritone uke with its DGBE tuning sounds deep and clear acoustically and when plugged into my valve amp. Feels really nice in the hands and seems to be very well finished throughout. The truss rod works, the frets are well finished and the gloss zebrawood body and its subtle bindings are very well done. The tuners are pretty accurate and work well. The neck felt good and the join between neck and body was well done. How to they do it at this price point?

Overall quality seems ok, sounds good, but not same as pictured: Finish is rough due to excessive glue showing thru the glossy finish around the fretboard and sound hole ( a blemish?), fret edges are sharp, gig bag is ok but not as shown. It plays well with and without amplification, but value is somewhat questionable due to excessive glue around the fretboard base. Quality control could be better.

This is uke #11 after 4 years and my first baritone. This uke was a great entry to baritone, very affordable especially considering the pickup, tuner, preamp included and gloss finish. Came with batteries installed and spares, colorful strap, patch cord, string set, and tools for truss rod. For the price, the sound quality is much better than expected. There's a gig bag too - soft - and nice straps. The pickup worked - plug and play. If you are considering trying Baritone, this is a great value for a beautiful instrument.

Just got this today, so take note of that fact as it has not been "broken in" yet. It is beautiful! I am so impressed with Caramel as this ukulele demonstrates a genuine effort to put forth a quality product. It looks and sounds great. Nice low action. No buzzing anywhere. Thoroughly impressed with the quality of the UKE for the price. I love it. I also have a Kala KA-B, a matte finish, and a ukulele of which I absolutely love and has a slightly more deep and penetrating D and G string sound. But put the two side by side, and by appearance the Caramel is the prom queen sitting next to the plain Jane. This Caramel is a great ukulele, am stunned by its appearance, and look forward to experiencing its potential as it adapts to its environment.

The product is of good quality and its finish is neat and beautiful. No obvious blemishes. It sounds pretty good, you have to tune it frequently, but I estimate that it will be until the strings are stretched to their final tuning. The tuning machines are correct, a little small for the force they will have to do, but so far, their performance is correct.I don't know if they are “Aquila Strings”, as advertised in the sale notice, the ones that were placed, I don't have as much experience to recognize them with the naked eye or by their sound. The additional set of strings they provide are "Caramel".The tuner works great, and he brought spare batteries. With care you can change the batteries without any problem.I have not checked the EQ at the moment because I do not own an amp.It came with all the promised accessories. The carrying case is correct and will protect the instruments during transport. It came with the pins to place the strap or band in place, this is very good, because otherwise it is an additional job, not very easy and delicate or you have to have them placed with someone with experience and it has a cost, for sure.It came in a very short time (considering that the order was made from Italy). The packaging was correct and careful.I recommend your purchase because the price is fair and you get a good instrument for what you pay.

Well just got this uke this afternoon. I like it and think it’s worth the money but has some issues. The pickup and tuning device didn’t work but was a pretty simple fix if your not afraid to pull the control panel out and mess with some pinched wires. The tuner is crap even when working but that doesn’t really bother me as I use a clip on tuner. Tuning machine heads are cheap but work and can be easily upgraded when I change strings. Pickup sounds ok but nothing to get excited about, usually play ukulele unplugged. Neck had a slight bow but a simple truss rod adjustment corrected that and lowered the action just right. The quality of wood , fit and finish to me makes it worth it. I actually think the heavy gloss clear coat mutes the tonal quality somewhat but all in all it’s pretty nice if you aren’t afraid to mess with it. I literally had it dialed in in less than an hour but I’m a hobby guitar builder so wasn’t a big deal. So I’d recommend it for the money if you don’t over expect on the electronics.

This has just been a great instrument for me. I don't have a lot of practice time, and will probably never become an even passable guitarist, but this baritone uke is unpretentious and friendly, with rich, mellow tones, and a built-in pickup and tuner that seem to work perfectly. I haven't yet replaced any of the strings or needed to do any other maintenance beyond simple tuning. I really appreciate all the accessories that came with it, the only additional purchase I had to make was a better strap (I'm 6'3", and I felt like the strap that came with it was slightly too short for me, also, it was thin nylon, so, tended to chafe my neck -- still, it was surely better than nothing, although your mileage may vary). The zebra wood is gorgeous and the sound is full and resonant. The finish is very glossy (which is fine, but matte would have been fine too -- the gloss does show fingerprints more, but that doesn't bother me). Tuning is easy, and the gig bag is plenty for carrying around this lightweight instrument and its accessories. For what it's worth, I'd suggest you research the wood options before buying any instrument and maybe consider not buying those that are endangered (like some of the Ebonies and Mahoganies). As far as I can tell, the Zebra wood is fairly plentiful, it looks and sounds great, and seems solid and strong, even when I use it for some hand-percussion. A friend of mine is a professional musician, and he couldn't stop complimenting me on the sound, fit, and finish of this uke, and he could barely believe that it cost less than two hundred beans. All in all, it has been a great purchase, and its mellow sound has helped me through many of these unsettling quarantine nights. I couldn't recommend it more! Grab one for yourself, learn a couple-three chords off the interwebs, and then just, as they say, enjoy the mellow goodness!
