I purchased to fix an insulation issue near the iPhone lightning cable connection. It slid perfectly over the connector and the shrinkage ( no Seinfeld pun) was perfect. Note: strategically, I slid an extra piece through first in case the USB end frays next.I don’t know if it fits over USB-C connector. Anyone know?

Great material

This is rugged stuff. I really like that the glue melts and forms a bond with the wire insulation; this adds strength to the connection. The only objection I have is that the result is not very flexible, it is stiffer than "hobbyist" grade heat-shrink. So if you need the result to be bendy and provide lateral strain relief for thin-gauge wire, this is probably not for you.

This 5" tubing is super heavy-duty, but it was not able to shrink down to 2" as indicated. It took a lot of effort to get it to shrink down to even 4" (with folds) with the use of high intensity heat gun. Eventually, it did shrink down enough for my application, but I had to use band clamps to secure it. But it is a very good, heavy-duty product so I wouldn't hesitate to use it in other applications.

I received a roll that was less than 80 feet long...In a different time, manufacturers and vendors would give you a foot more than expected to ensure that a shortage did not occur and to ensure the customer would return because of the added value of the product; however, now everyone is in it for a quick buck with little regard for what it takes to gain customer loyalty...

Not sure able 3:1 shrink so 3/8 should go down to 1/8” but it’s not quite there for a great seal.But on 3/16” wire works great
