Installation:
1, Clean your dash or anywhere you want to place the holder, make sure the surface is dry and no dust.
2, Remove the base transparent film before installation, and then place the holder.
3, Open the upper clamp then pull out the trapezoid pad slowly.
4, Put in your device, adjust the angles by pull in or out the trapezoid pad.
Option use for 3M double coated tissue tape:
With the gel base, this holder is easy to transfer with different places. If feel the holder not stable enough, can use the 3M double coated tissue tape to completely fix it.
Daily Maintenance:
Wash the gel pad to restore stickiness.

I love this. My SatNav suction caps kept coming off in the sun/heat. This solves the problem, AND it is protected from the sun so I can see the screen better. I highly recommend this. Also has a rubber non slip on base with stops it moving around.

You don't have to do a permanent mount. It holds quite well on the dash with out permanent placement.

Die KFZ Halterung ist durchdacht und praxistauglich. Sie sieht noch dazu gut aus und wäre von daher ihr Geld wert. Alerdings erfährt man erst beim Öffnen der Verpackung dass die in der Beschreibung angegebene Größenordnung der Gegenstände, für die sich die Halteung verwenden lässt, also Inch/Zoll von 5 - 9,6, sich ganz unterschiedlich auf Handys, Tablets oder Navis. bezieht Wer etwa ein 8 Zoll Navi mit einer unteren Kantenlänge von 18 cm in der Halterung unterbringen will, wird das laut der "User Instrction" nicht können (nach der eigenen Probe aufs Exempel mit einem Garmin Drivesmart 86 klappts aber doch). Auch merkwürdig: Eine Versandgbühr von 10 Euro !

I have a Garmin smart 86 which has an 8-in screen. The other mat I had for my old Garmin didn't work for this one because it's so front heavy. It didn't take much for it to fall over.My Garmin fits great and it seems to hold well in the notches. I didn't want it in the middle of my dash because it does block views. As you can see my dashboard is a little curved. It's a 2010 Prius. This unit holds on to that curve very well. It stayed put when I was doing turns, accelerating and stopping. It's sticky on the bottom with a small oval "stickier" area, so that it isn't permanently attached but it grips well yet allowing it to be removed to use in another vehicle. It does come with a 3M sticker should it become necessary.If you're a very aggressive driver maybe you'll have issues with it (?). But I'm very pleased. Customer service is good. I had a question and the seller got right back to me.My opinion is to go ahead and get one. If it doesn't work out for you, you can send it back.

Bei meinen Garmin Navi ist die Halterung abgebrochen. Diese Halterung hält es auch bei schlechten Straßen.

Bought this for my Garmin and it holds it well. The holder itself does slip a little and I even cleaned the surface before putting it on it. I do like this a lot better than the vent holder I had.

This might work with devices shaped to fit in the rubber parts on the clam shell. With a Garmin ZumoXT2 there just isn't enough clamping force and grip on the 2 rubber slots to hold the gps in place while going around corners.

Puts the phone, tablet whatever in a position to be easily visible. 'Stickey' bottom keeps it in position and 'mouth' is large enough to handle 7 inch screens comfortably.

Does as designed. You can't do better without glue. Keeps the GPS screen in plane, with the view out the windshield. Cup holder, and AC vent mounts pull your eyes off the road, and downward. Suction cups,*!WILL*! all pop off, and fall. Anyone telling you otherwise, is full of a brown substance, I will not name in polite conversation. This ends the problem. It does slides a bit occasionally. Not far though, or overmuch.Rubber footing provides adequate traction.

Excelente calidad, tiene diferentes posiciones, el detalle es que entre la base donde se pone y donde se pega hay una separación y eso hace que vibre y se mueva mucho el aparato que pongas y dificulta la vista un poco, fuera de eso cumple con su función!
