It seems to be what it is advertised as. It can be machined fairly easily so I will likely reorder it when this is used up.

If you need a perfect finish this may not be for you. I give it a 9 out of 10 for outside finish. This rod was perfect to be re-machined. I used it for a bushings and it is working great. TY
