Polyolefin heat shrink tubing is a versatile solution used in military, commercial, and consumer applications. With a 2:1 shrink ratio, it reduces to half of its original diameter while experiencing minimal length shrinkage (typically less than 7%).
It’s important to note that heat shrink tubing is measured in its round form, not when flattened, so always select a size slightly larger than the object you need to cover for a secure fit.

Shrink Ratio
A 2:1 heat shrink tubing works by reducing its diameter by half when heat is applied.
A tube with a 2:1 shrink ratio means that if its original diameter was 10 mm, it will shrink down to 5 mm after heat is applied.
Instructions
Step 1: Measure & Cut
Measure and cut the necessary length of heat shrink tubing.
Step 2: Insert the Tubing
Slide the tubing over the wires before making the connection.
Step 3: Apply Heat
Apply heat using a heat gun or lighter to shrink the tubing securely around the connection.
Step 4: Sealed & Protected
Once cooled, the tube retains its new tight form, providing electrical insulation, mechanical protection, and moisture resistance.
