This is the good stuff! Heavy duty thick heat-shrink on a roll that allows it to be cut exactly to length without wastage. I got the 3/4", which fits smoothly over the row of long ferrite rings that I use over coaxial cable to produce line isolators which reduce passage of common -mode currents on the braid. It shrinks perfectly with a heat gun, with the adhesive inner coating melting in the process and setting as it cools. It produces a perfect job every time.

I had some outdoor speakers that I needed to replace the wire if on. When I got the old wires out of the conduit, I could see the failure points, and decided to use better wire, better (waterproof) connections and this wire wrap over the connection. GearIT makes great products, so I used their wire and shrink tube (this is an unsolicited review, by the way).I also used their wire, banana plug and pin connectors for my inside stereo needs, excellent products.

I had trouble with the 1/2 inch as they rolled it very tight and flat. So it was extremely difficult to get it into a round shape again very frustrating. Once fixed it performed as advertised.

Good quality heat shrink tubing. Collapses well when heating with no issues.The only issue I had was I need to use long pieces and being that it comes folded in half sometimes it’s difficult to pass wires through because it wants to close in on itself.
