Great device for utilizing one hard wired ethernet port for two devices. In my case, desktop PC and Google TV. I will also use it where I have only one jack in an office to connect a PC and printer.I like:- Have seen no degradation or interruption in the network speed or latency- Can easily connect two hardwired devices quickly without any difficulty - plug n play- Like the small metal case- came with USB-C to USB-A cable for power- came with one ethernet patch cable, only about 2' so would be from the jack to the splitter- small, no bigger than it needs to beWish:- a way to mount it included- umm cant think of anything else at the moment.Note: make sure you have the network cables you need and a power source. It will use any 5v USB power source such as from a TV. Does not come with a power pack.. which is fine for me as I have way to many of those sitting around. When I don't have any.. I suppose I would complain. For $10 it is a great value and quick fix if you have one jack. Recommended.

I needed a Gigabit Ethernet Splitter to connect both a Roku TV (for media playback) and a Raspberry Pi (for digital signage) to the same single Ethernet drop—and this little device works like a charm! What I Love:✔ True Gigabit Speeds – No noticeable speed drops, and both devices receive stable network connectivity.✔ Simultaneous Network Access – Both my Roku TV and Raspberry Pi stay connected without interruptions.✔ USB-Powered – Just plug it into a 5V power source (I used the TV’s USB port), and it’s ready to go.✔ Compact & Well-Built – Feels sturdy and takes up very little space. I like metal enclosures!✔ Plug & Play Simplicity – No setup needed—just connect and go!Things to Note:🔹 Needs External Power – While the USB power cable is included, you must power it for it to work.🔹 Check Your Cables – Works with Cat 5/6/7/8 cables, but using older Cat 5e might limit speeds.Final Thoughts:This Gigabit Ethernet Splitter solved my digital signage dilemma by allowing both my Roku TV and Raspberry Pi to share the same Ethernet drop flawlessly. If you need a reliable way to split a wired network connection, this is an affordable and effective solution!

I have to run an Ethernet cable over 50 feet from the modem where I have a TV and a PlayStation console I prefer to have hard wired. I didn’t want to run two Ethernet cables that far, so I used this splitter to hardwire both devices. The result has been faster speeds than wireless (almost always 800-1000mbs) on both devices and with less latency on the PlayStation. Keep in mind that this is a powered splitter, so you will need to plug it into 5v for it will work. It also came with one shorter Ethernet cable and the cord to plug it in, but not the power brick. I just plugged the splitter in to power via a usb plug on my extension cord. It’s pretty much plug and play and only takes seconds to set up. Oh, you will also likely need another Ethernet canle for a second device if you don’t already have one. It’s well made and seems very durable. I’m pleased.

This "splitter" essentially works as a 5v 2port unmanaged switch.Connected to our Gigabit internet, each port seems to take a small speed tax, but maybe 10-15% so in a perfect world you are using a real powered switch, but in situations where power or space is tight, this will do.In the past, I would avoid these as they were notoriously "noisy" on a network, but in these modern times of CAT5e and up, most of the chipsets are pretty good and work well enough.A common place I have seen these in use lately is on the back of TVs with a computer nearby. Sometimes you want to run the TV OS wired and sometimes you want to switch over to the computer (also wired).

This network cable splitter is extremely easy to use and provides excellent speed. The package includes one USB-A to USB-C cable for power, one RJ45 CAT 6E Network cable, the Splitter unit, and a paper with specifications and features of the unit, but no actual instructions for use. The box the unit comes in has a diagram for plugging the cables in, which may be helpful for some. Fortunately, the device is very easy to use and the lack of detailed instructions shouldn't be an issue. Note that only one RJ45 network cable is included, but to actually use the splitter you will need a total of three RJ45 network cables - one for your network connection to the splitter, and then one for each device you want to plug into the splitter. The splitter is powered by the included USB cable. Any open USB-A port on your computer should power the splitter, so no external power adapter is included. Once the cables are all connected and the splitter is powered on, you're in business. There are link lights on all three network ports so you can immediately tell whether connectivity and communication is occurring with the attached devices. I used the splitter to provide connectivity to two computers in my office all day, and I had no issues whatsoever with speed or connectivity. I was able to stream video and participate in Zoom and Teams meetings without any noticeable reduction in network speed or quality while using the device. Overall, this is a good splitter that is small enough to fit in a pocket, performs well, and is very easy to install. If two network ports are all you need, then this should do the job.
