I use this to supplement the freeze dried foods I get from Etsy. Add a few crushed red pepper flakes and the crabies go nuts.

Whether you have small hermit crabs or bigger ones, this food is ground up for either size. They seem to enjoy eating this better than The last food I bought them. I add this to their diet. Because I also feed them. Anything I eat on top of adding this dry food to their diet . My hermit crab Lionel likes when I put it on top of his fresh food when I make him a salad . My other two hermit crab enjoy it also.

We are not sure how old our hermit crab Kirby is because we won him/her (we don’t know but default to “him”) at the fair, but he has lived with us for 7 years. I usually stick to pre-made foods/supplements that are under $10 per bag or container (because I like to have several varieties on hand to try and provide some variety in this crab’s life and I have other life forms to provide for and have never won the lottery) but I admit my eye was caught by the packaging on this one so I went a little higher than usual. I like to put food in different spots around the enclosure during feeding time to try to mimic the foraging experience I assume happens in the real world, and we received this yesterday so I fed it to him this morning. I have NEVER seen Kirby find a food so fast OR eat the serving so quickly. It’s a fairly fine powder, and he was doing his best to shovel it into him mouth in piles with his little graspy legs. Which means I also felt the need to leave a review sooner after receiving an item than I think I have ever done. Clearly it was worth moving up my price point, and clearly we need to explore the other varieties in this product line. Thanks!

My sons hermit crabs love this food.. they go nuts when we feed them.. he has 5 hermit crabs in his 55 gallon tank

I have to say that I was a bit skeptical of the reviews. This was way more expensive than the food I have been buying and it's a pretty small bag.Within 15 minutes of putting this food in all 4 of my crabs were at the food bowl feeder claws going crazy. I alternate days with fresh foods and store bought hermit crab food. The fresh foods don't even bring them running like they did for this food. By morning every grain of food was eaten. Hermies are happy and I will be a loyal repeat customer. A++++

I appreciate the ease this provides ensuring they are getting what they need and I can supplement with whatever. It's piece of mind that my crabs are getting the best care I can provide. Crabs seem quite happy with it.
