A new kind of feeder from pangea

  • The white chunks are typically potassium sorbate and small pieces of coconut flakes that can't be sifted out during the production process. These are a natural part of the diet. The black parts are insect parts that are an important part of the diet.

  • Under normal circumstances your gecko will only need 3 to 5 feedings per week. Occasional feeding with live insects is recommended by not required with this diet.

  • It depends on the age of your gecko. Most Juveniles should receive about 1/16th of an ounce or a dime size portion. Subadults should receive 1/8th of an ounce or a nickel sized portion. An adult should receive a quarter to about a half ounce portion.

  • The ice crystals that form during the freezing process can potentially damage the cell walls of the plant ingredient contents and reduce the overall nutritional value of the diet.

  • The prepared feed can be compared to a fruit smoothie. A fruit smoothie sitting in a humid tropical environment like a gecko terrarium will not last as long as it would while refrigerated.

This is the perfect food for any crested gecko. Both of my girls enjoy it and have never refused to eat it. It’s easy to mix up, lasts 2 days and has a consistent texture every time I make it. I have bought this a few times and will continue to buy it until my girls turn their noses up for a new flavor.

The gecko likes this more then I do. The smells triggers me. We used to do smaller packages that cost more. The plus to that apparently was I don’t have to smell the same smell for a month or more. But the gecko likes and that is what is important.

Our 3 Gecko's will not eat anything other than this food. They do like mill worms but as far as a mixed type food this is the only thing they will eat. I have tried other brands and other type of this same brand and this seems to be their favorite. I have and will reorder again.

The Pangea Fruit Mix Fig & Insects is fantastic for my crested gecko. The powder is smooth and mixes easily. My friends recommended this, and I've also tried other flavors from this brand. I sometimes mix different flavors or serve them separately. My gecko really enjoys this food, and it provides all the essential nutrients. I'm very happy with the quality and results.
