Humble Bee aerated beekeeping suits are constructed from premium 100% synthetic fabric with a lightweight foam insert. We raised the bar on quality by using heavy duty brass zippers, double-stitching the pockets, lining the pockets and cuffs with polycotton, and including a deluxe canvas carrying case. We also added an elastic waistband for comfort, elastic wrists and ankles to protect your limbs, plus thumb and foot holds to keep the suit perfectly in place.

First time I ordered they never sent me my suit even though they took my money. Next time I ordered they sent me a much cheaper suit. Had to return it and reorder. The suit itself is probably good, but the fulfillment not impressed.

I wear a size 36X32 pant and a 2XL shirt. The suit I ordered was a 2XL. It fit well but if I was 20lbs heavier, it would be a little tight. The material is awesome! It almost feels like the cooler is on when the wind blows. Quite refreshing when the Texas heat is beating down on you. I'm not saying that you will not get hot, just that the breeze feels good through the net-like material. The veil is a little small for my liking. The netting is too close to my face and I have been stung on the tip of my nose. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I'm very pleased.

Buona, anche per quando fa caldo. Cose da migliorare: la rete della mascherina è leggerissima e può toccare il viso e non proteggere abbastanza; servirebbe una tasca chiudibile per il cellulare. Altrimenti è esattamente ciò che mi aspettavo, anche se i tempi di consegna sono assai lunghi.

I have yet to put this to the test, but I did try it on. The quality is very nice. Solid seams, heavy duty zipper and a perfect fit. I didn’t find any issues with the face shield. My neck is well protected and there’s plenty of room between the netting and my face.Edited:I finally got my hive started and I feel well protected wearing this. I’m glad I purchased this one although, now that I’m more comfortable around bees, I think I’d prefer just a hood and jacket. I don’t think there’s any need for the full suit unless your bees are very aggressive.

I've waited a long time to submit a review for this suit because I wanted to see if it was as good as described. It is and here's why. I ordered the bee suit 420 bee suit for the aeration. I originally ordered the polycotton bee suit and had it shipped in February. There was absolute no breathability to the suit. I have used the 420 Aero bee keeping suit five times now and find the breathability very necessary in the ninety degree heat that I've had to inspect the hives in. I've never been stung. The hat is snug and the veil offers all the protection you need. It is a very durable suit. My daughter and I have taken up the hobby and she ordered the non aerated suit and regrets having done so.

My first year with beekeeping, I had a cheap pull over jacket with veil. It was a cotton jacket and very warm. This Humble Bee 420 is very breathable with top notch zippers and many pockets. Looking forward to using it over the next several years!

I have a few suites from Humble Bee and they are great. Vented is 100% the way to go. I made the mistake of buying a solid suit when I started out, but replaced it in a few months because it was too hot.

I got stung by several yellow jackets and ended up in the emergency room. Two weeks later I bought this bee suit and put in a Jean Jacket and Jean pants underneath. Took my revenge on several ground and soffit nests. They are all dead and this outfit kept me safe. I don’t recommend this approach for everyone, but the suit us highly effective and keeps you cool.
