I was suprised with the quality for the price. I could not make it myself for that price.

You cannot come close to building a neck for this price. I have not checked the frets but visually it seems straight. The radius is not consistent, needs fine tuning. I'm sure for most people this will work, but if your luthiers skills are basic, you may need to take this to someone for tweaking. BE AWARE that the headstock is STRAIGHT, (like a Fender) not angled like a Gibson, etc.

I like guitar necks with a two way truss rod. This is one way only ( straighten only ). The frets were not pressed with a fret press enough. The edges were also sharp. With some more tweaking I am a little closer to making this an exceptional guitar neck, but it has taken considerable effort. I ordered 2 of these ( one with a maple fretboard, and one with a rosewood fretboard). The rosewood neck is ok. I should have sent the maple fretboard one back, and re-ordered, but I needed it done right away. I am still relatively happy with the results though.

its good so far, really good, only issue is heavy satin poly finish would be better not to have that already on there, or less heavy, tba how it comes off, but its not hard like plastic it has a rubbery feel like it did not fully cure between coats...still cheaper than making my own neck even if i have to strip it
