Nice product with almost everything I want except it is a little bit thick than I expected. I assume majority of people only have 1 backup key so it’s unnecessary to craft a huge box for it.BTW who is the genius comes up with the idea printing “key hider” on the top of the key hider?

Stuck it on securely and forgot about it. A week later I check to see if it’s still there and gone Probably hit someone’s windshield on 85 when it fell off. Lost my only spare key too, let’s go!!

Overall the case is reasonably constructed and the lid will not jiggle out of the track. The case is plastic (not metal) and the plastic is sufficiently thick to resist impact fracture. I ordered this product based on the advertized dimensions. Unfortunately, the advertized measures were ballpark exterior dimensions AND the actual exterior dimensions are a little smaller than the advertized exterior dimensions.The INTERIOR dimensions (the ones that really matter for key fit) are smaller yet:Interior length = 2 3/4" (6.9 cm)Interior width = 1 7/16" (3.7 cm) @ wide end; 5/8" (1.5 cm) @ narrow endInterior depth = 15/32 " (1.2 cm)My key will not fit inside. I will need to purchase the Extra Large size then pad the interior to control key rattle.If you are interested, the actual EXTERIOR dimensions of my Large Case are:Length = 2 15/16"Width = 1 13/16"Depth = 5/8"
