Tubing is very stiff. You will eventually get it to go where it needs to, but it won't be all that easy or fast. ('Sure beats working with solid black pipe though!) I used a standard PVC pipe cutter to cut the hose and it worked fine, but you need to be very careful to make straight cuts and the ends of the hose will require a little preparation before assembly. IMPORTANT! The inside of the hose absolutely MUST be chamfered or it will force the o-rings out of their grooves when the hose is pushed onto the fitting. I found a step drill that would accomplish this sort of ok if I tilted it and reamed it by hand (Not in a drill). It did ultimately work, but it was a bit of a time consuming hack. If I could go back in time and do it all over, I would definitely spend the extra $10 and get the correct MAXLINE BEVELING TOOL.

I like the product, it’s pricey for what it is but they are a part of a system with the air line kit and nothing else will do.They mixed up my order. I ordered three straight fittings and two unions. I received two straight fittings and three unions. I’m sure Amazon will make it right.
