I bought it to place on my shepherd's hook where I hang my bird feeder to prevent squirrels from climbing the pole. So far it works. It's smaller in diameter than the original slinky, so actually it worked better for me. I saw some videos where the full size slinky is too large and the squirrels climb up "inside" the coil. Won't happen with this one. As for a toy? I guess it would be okay, like a party favor? 3 pack.

not a trademark "slinky" but close enough. Smaller in diameter than the original, same idea although 'size makes a diference' in doing some tricks.

Just as described. Inexpensive and a good squirrel deterrent. Even black to match the bird feeder pole. Recommended

Fed each of my two bird feeder poles through one of these and the squirrels can't climb the pole. They have worked well for at least a year and much cheaper than similar products sold specifically to deter squirrels.

They were smaller than I expected but we're just perfect for my shepherd hooks. To keep the squirrels out of my bird feeder. Very well made.
