This fit Ibanez Mikro ONLY after a bit of sanding. Its slightly too big and slightly too long but I sanded it (NOT TOO MUCH so be careful) But if you want a nut to fit a Mikro you can get this. Just match it up to the plastic nut from Mikro and a spot of glue and it's good to go!! Stays in tune w 9-42's.

This nut fit perfectly on my Squier Affinity Strat 2021, no sanding of the bottom was required. I did sand some of the sides though to lay flush with the fingerboard. The black nut looks great with all the black components that I replaced on my guitar. Complements the Graph Tech Ratio Tuners and Saddles perfectly which keeps my guitar in tune much better now and removed some weird string sounds that I had with the stock nut.

Purchased this same nut twice. Once for the Vintera modified JM-there was some slight sanding and adjusting, and makes a great improvement over the stock nut Fender placed.(Fender-totally dropped the ball on the nut level, and string depth-over cut very badly) This one fixed the problem.works well with a 2022 Fender Vintera Jazzmaster "modified"Second purchase was for a -Squire Classic Vibe Jazzmaster (original was loose/not glued; was easy instal) No sanding was needed on mine, and fit perfectly on the Squire )did add slight glue to lock the new nut in, since nut space was cut a teeny bit wide. (also to note, original Squire nut was cut a lot better than the vintera modified/prob did not need to change it, but did it just for wanting the upgrade.

It was ment to be used for ESP ltd st 213 but I did not measure the factory nut correctly, so this new nut was little bit small. I replaced the nut anyway and made it work by just making the saddles higher but did not feel good for me... So old nut back into the guitar. Hehehe...

Used to replace stock nut on my Squier Mustang. Difficult part is removing stock nut, replacing the nut is easy. Clean out the cavity, add a bit of glue, align correctly, and that's it. Does improve the sound and the black looks great. May need to adjust string guides if using larger strings.

Yes I should have measured before ordering but when I saw this come up in a search for "Squier Stratocaster Nut" naturally I thought it would fit. Nope! Learned something new today. Squier strat nuts are 40 mm wide while American Strat is 42 mm wide. Wasn't looking for a new nut for my other strat but guess I have one now. Still need a good quality nut for this cheap second hand Squier that I want to make more than it was meant to be. Guess my rating is a bit harsh since it is a really nice nut but it just didn't work where I wanted it to work and wasn't looking for a new nut for my other strat.UPDATE: Originally gave this 3 stars due to not fitting the guitar I wanted it on but since putting it on my main guitar I have to admit it looks nicer than the bone nut that was on it and no adjustments needed. Perfect replacement for a 42mm wide neck. For my Squier upgrade project, ended up just using the original plastic nut. :(

I've been sold on the Graphtech/TUSQ nuts for quite a few years now, and this one is yet another success story. I bought a "diamond in the rough" econo neck from Amazon a little while back, knowing very well it would need some TLC and elbow grease to make it go from good to great. The nut that the neck came with was the weakest link, and it was a pain to get this Graphtech nut installed, although not because of this nut in any way. The nut slot in the neck was both too deep and not wide enough. Despite that, once I got the slot all cleaned up and made a proper super-thin shim, the neck has turned out to be one of the nicest that I've played over the years (frets were dressed very well, truss rod adjusts nicely, etc.). As a plus, 42mm = no filing on the sides, at least not for this "on-spec" neck....Without this nut, the neck in question would have been mediocre at best. The stock nut was so bad that it wasn't worth even filing/sanding to work better, and there was no drop-in substitute for it - it simply made more sense to make the slot be like what you'd get from an actual Fender. Also - I typically get the white/bone GT/TUSQ nuts, but this one was for a black Tele/rosewood neck/black headstock project, and it looks really nice. I'm not super big on aesthetics, but it's an instance of non-traditional looking great (I tend to hate how graphite nuts look on maple fretboard necks, especially if they have the Old School style tuners)....This nut will probably seem expensive compared to other stuff, all things considered. When you consider that it's durable (I've got one on another guitar that's seen regular play for 10+ years w/no wear), it's (properly) pre-slotted, and the dimensions are correct (provided you do a little bit of research to get the right one), it's worth every add'l penny.

My custom built guitar has an odd narrow neck. Graphtech/Tusq is one of the few companies that provide detailed specs for their products making choosing a nut relatively straightforward. Oddly enough they don't mention neck radius and the techs informed me that most of their products are intended for a 9.5" radius neck. They have a large selection of sizes and my 42mm nut only needed slight sanding to fit my 41mm neck.My neck required a radiused nut but there isn't anything like that available. Luckily this but is ready to sand. A piece of sandpaper laid between the first and second fret allowed me to get the proper radius for my nut for a perfect fit.
