I purchased this type of wheel for an unusual purpose which is landscaping and garden use, specifically for cutting down large zebra grass and transplanting. Zebra grass has a nasty base of old stems from prior seasons, this stuff is like cutting wood literally like cutting a 3/8 inch hardwood dowel with some even larger. I mounted the wheel on a cordless angle grinder 4 1/2 or 5 inch and use the edge only like a cutoff wheel. it zips through the stalks like butter and does not tend to kick back like a saw blade, it does not rip into the stalks just quickly grind/cuts with relative safety. I am 100% satisfied with these wheels however I admit I have not tried them on steel.

These Mornajina discs are the real deal. I've been using them for a while now on everything from metal to concrete, and they haven't let me down yet. They cut clean and fast, and they're surprisingly durable. I've even used them on some pretty tough jobs, and they still hold up. If you're looking for a reliable cutting disc that can handle anything you throw at it, these are the ones to get.

When used as a cut-off wheel, the abrasives on the outer edge wear off quickly and do not sustain the quick initial cut speed. The thin edge that allows for grinding holds a little longer. It's still more durable than a standard masonry or steel cutting wheel. Kudos for not exploding under a stress test that would easily break another oxide-type wheel. It could be better, but it's still just a little better than a standard wheel but not quite worth the price over other wheels. Still happy to have some in the arsenal.
