These just arrived and I am so excited! They were packed with expert care. These are authentic tagines, not mass produced it seems. They are beautiful! I will not only use these as serving pieces but display because they are so pretty.

We have been years trying to find the right dish for our butter. We love having soft butter handy on the counter. Conventional design too small. Often, we found we were constantly cleaning. We tried bowls . . . too deep. A plate? . . . no cover. Almost went with a Garlic roaster but they don't make them wide enough and just not as pretty of a design.Packaging arrived in such a way that I have to say it was the absolute best packaging I have ever received an item. We love it. Dish is shallow for ease of use. Wide enough to accommodate full or half sticks. Lid tall enough to not get messy. And its pretty. Might be extravagant to some (and we did hesitate somewhat), but when we are in the kitchen everyday and it is a source of frustration . . . the price was worth it.

I ordered this by mistake not realizing that it is for serving not cooking. It was so beautiful, however, that i kept it anyway. My guests always comment on it. Even when not in use it is a great decoration
