I used the product on a Conduit on a pier. It didn’t last in that environment. I ended up a repair kit from Conduit Repair Systems, which worked great.

Did not work on my hose, i had 2 small pinholes on my hose, wrapped it and it seemed to be ok at first. Used next day and it leaked, i put on a 2nd application and it still leaked. Not worth the money for me.

This is a giant sized butyl tape roll.It looks like it is 2 because the backing is half and half but the actual butyl stuff is all one piece.I am using it to add a bit of waterproofing on a greenhouse that has polycarb panes and leaks quite badly despite copious caulking.I had to cut the butyl tape to a smaller size to make it useful for this with a craft knife.The outside of the tape isnt sticky and is silvered so it doesnt look terrible in place , more like flashing.Where you push it on, it stays, so on flat surfaces it is flat though you are seeing it overlaying caulking in the pics which is why it looks lumpy.Fortunately it has waxed paper between the roll turns and is not that hard to get on.Having the backing in two halves is helpful and the edge overlaps so you can grab it easily.I like the thickness of the butyl, having used a thicker butyl tape elsewhere and struggling the entire time, this was actually not hard to use at all.Would purchase again in future if needs be.

We have a house that was built in 1968. I noticed a crack in the pipe underneath the kitchen sink that runs to the main line. It’s an awkward place. I tried to goop it up with some epoxy but that didn’t work because I couldn’t get it to completely dry. I purchased some of this and I am happy to say that it worked. I applied 2 doubled up pieces and got it pretty snug. It’s been a few weeks and it’s holding. Definitely buying us some time. I recommend it.
