As someone who’s had 5 concussions, this really helps focus on those muscles I can’t always reach on my neck or shoulders, it’s uncomfortable at first, but once you get use to it/know where to position it on your body, you’ll love it!

I had high hopes for this but it did not live up to the promises. The pillow’s design is rigid and awkward. Despite the claims of ergonomic support, I found it uncomfortable to use for extended periods. The material feels overly firm, almost hard, which made it difficult to relax into the position it suggests. Instead of relieving tension, it seemed to create more strain. The pillow is marketed as a solution for neck pain and tension relief, but I did not experience any improvement. In fact, after several uses, my neck was more sore than before. It seemed to place my head and neck at an unnatural angle, making it uncomfortable to lie on for more than a few minutes.

I’ve been suffering from occipital nerve pain for over a year. Injections didn’t work. But this Neck pillow is a game changer. I got relief after the 1st use. It’s important to know I used my hands to manipulate the pillow in a massage like motion as I laid it behind my neck laying down. Then used an ice pack for 20 minutes to ease the actual massage pain. I only use about once a month when needed and it actually helps. I have to lay on the floor to get the best results because anything but a firm surface reduces its effectiveness. Sometimes relief takes ten minutes, other times an hour, depending on inflammation. It always brings relief, though. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it takes up a fair amount of space in a drawer or cabinet. Next time I’d look for a collapsible version. A minor inconvenience for a product that truly helps relieve discomfort.

This neck wedge is wonderful. I suffer from neck pain and when I lay on this, it immediately hits the right pressure points. It relieves my pain. Very happy with this wedge.

For tension headaches, I find myself pinching my neck for pain relief. This device has knobs to place against pressure points along your neck as you lie on your back. The instructions mention to gradually build up usage time from short timeframes to longer durations, but I used it significantly longer without any negative results. It took time to find points along my neck that would hit the sweet spots to provide relief, so be prepared to do a little exploration to find ways to position this for your benefit. This helps with tight knots for me, but I am not sure about other mechanical neck problems and you may or may not have conditions to respond well to this.
