It was missing from order. Manufacturer directed me tp Amazon. It was replaced in a very timely manner so kudos to Amazon. Item is very nice: sturdy, sharp, well built, great rubber handle complete with a safety cover to protect it (and you) from damage and the grater teeth are quite small. Works very well indeed. A little larger than I envisioned but isn't going to slip around in the hand. Just hope Amazon doesn't charge me twice now.

I’ve been using this grater for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools! It’s ideal for grating a wide range of foods, including semi-soft cheeses, zucchini, onions, and even butter—basically everything I need for cooking and baking. The sharp, etched stainless steel surface makes grating quick and effortless, and it creates finely grated ingredients with minimal effort. I’ve used it for everything from salads to homemade mac and cheese, and it always performs flawlessly.The convenient cover is a great feature! It keeps the sharp grating surface protected when not in use, which is a huge plus for storage and safety. I live and die by the microphone make on kitchen graters, have several and they all have their uses. Unlike other brands, microplane type graters never cut your hands. But America's Test kitchen test lots of kitchen equipment and the OXO brand of anything is always the best. And I wanted a bigger grater anyway so ordered this one. Even though the word "microplane" is not used in the description. Omg I LOVE LOVE this grater. It's bigger, faster, there's NO chance of ever scraping or cutting your knuckles, it works on garlic, ginger, chocolate. It's wonderful and I really should call Oxo directly to thank them too. Treat yourself, your family, your bff and buy 2 of these immediately!!!

This thing is great. Easy to use, sturdy, sharp, etc. But I noticed this week that it’s cracked along the edge in two places. So far it hasn’t affected its use, but the yellow part is going to fall off at some point. It’s pretty inexpensive, but would have expected it to last longer than two years.

The companion to the larger OXO coarse cheese grater, this small model is also an etched grater that produces a fine shred quickly, but is uni-directional instead of bi-directional like so many graters these days. Like most any food, grated cheese begins oxidizing the moment it is shredded, so the flavor of cheese shredded from a brick is really much better than buying from a bag. This OXO good Grips orange zester is a very good product. This product is nicely made to hold at an angle with one hand and doesn't slip while zesting the large naval orange with my other hand. I really do like that it comes with a plastic guard to cover and protect the blades. Just be very careful when zesting the orange so that you don't accidentally knick or cut your fingers/knuckles because the blades are really sharp! Also I love that it is colored a nice orange and black, it stands out. It is exactly as pictured here on Amazon. Easy to wash and clean. Not bulky. Very happy.I recommend this product to anyone who is seeking an excellent orange zester. It came in handy when trying to bake "healthy Morning Glory Muffins". (Excellent recipe!)By the way I also used this manual hand citrus juicer in case is looking for one as well. I found it here on Amazon.
