Designed especially for the use with effect pedals and pedalboards, the Purifier minimizes and removes noise induced by poor DC power adapter construction delivering clean DC power to your stompboxes. It provides standard 2.1 x 5.5 mm barrel jack connectors and automatically detects your DC power supply's polarity. The Purifier cleans any output voltage from 5 to 30 volts DC.

I bought this not because I needed it, I did not have any noise issues with my RNHP headphone amp, but to see if it would improve the audio by filtering and cleaning the input voltage. Not only did it not improve things but I found it to be detrimental to the sound quality, reducing dynamics somewhat. I'll return it. It probably works as its intended purpose but if you don't have any hum issues in your audio, no need for this, at least that was the case for me.

Works real good and quite a comet effective solution. I was looking at powerful for my blackboard which can cost around £100. When I was this I trusted the brand name and was highly delighted when I plugged it in for the first time. It certainly solved my issue and at the price I paid I'm more than happy. Thanks.

I have a Rupert Neve Headphone Amp which when used with sensitive IEM headphones produced an annoying background buzzing sound. A post on a hifi forum suggested getting the Palmer Purifier to address noise issues with this specific amp. For £18 it seemed worth a try and I am delighted to say it has worked perfectly. I can use my IEMs with no background noise at all.

Artikel zügig erhalten aber ca. 2 Minuten nach dem Auspacken und Anschliessen war (dank einfachster Kontruktion und Bedienung) klar: Nicht die Lösung für mich. Das vom Netzteil ausgehende Störgeräusch war am Effektgerät genauso stark wahrzunehmen wie vorher ohne den Purifier. Schade! Die Suche geht weiter ...
